I'm sure someone posted something earlier this week about being unable to transfer game saves to another PS3. Seems like 3.15 has sorted that.

Not sure. I had it pop up this morning. Normally that means it compulsory

Looking at the link I posted it's from over a month ago, so you could be right.

I got the update on the 10th(ish) December. It was an optional update then. Must be compulsory now. Never tested the new features though!

fix some trophy problems i hear and also allow psp mini's to be playable on your ps3

update 3.15 allows

multiplatform gaming (PSP to PS3) for certain software, so now some games you will only need to buy once and can play on both the PS3 and your Remote PSP

The saving of data for easy transfer between PS3’s , saving the hassle of doing a complete back up

Probably more but havent looked into it in too much detail as it seemed a pretty minor update
