He meant he won't be earning rank, since he won't be playing.
@Nodanod – I'm pretty sure theres a trick to getting the PS3 to spit the disk back out, but I've never had to do it, so I'm not really sure how you do it. I forget if its something like holding the power button down for a really long time or what… but I would google it dude.

MemberTry and fix it. If it's outside warranty then you have nothing to lose and if you get it working again you can get your disk, any save data you want and then trade the console in against a newer model.

MemberTry holding down the Eject button and Power button at the same time . This might pop out your Modern Warfare 2 .

MemberMy brother had the same problem with a rented game inside. It was past warranty, so I just took the cover off, took out some screws, made my way to the Blu-Ray drive, and got the game out. If it's past warranty, there's no reason not to take it apart to get your game out of there.

Memberthe emergency release disk function doesnt operate on the 60gb model, was only 1st used on the 40gb, i've tried it several times to double check. Phoned Sony up after seeing a youtube vid. that suggested you can haggle ur way round them 2 replace, but they only offered an 80gb model in conjction with £128.00 no thank you! – not gettin another refurb. model bound 2 break again.

Memberthere places that fix ps3 YLOD cheaply and have a 70% success rate by putting them in an oven thingy thats what my uncle had done to his ps3 a year ago and it works fine still

Memberyeah, but i rekn wot i'll do now is to get my MW2 disk thts stuck out, then wipe my HDD, and let some1 else buy it off me, – if they get it working, good 4 them, if not then i dodged a bullet
