No! I never cheated online or offline for that matter. I cannot make a new account. I get a message ''You cannot use PlayStationRNetwork with this account. How do I call Sony?
P.S. Could this happen cause I downloaded some movies from stagevu.com?
Probably
No. That would be a matter for your ISP to handle, not Sony. If it were the case your internet company usually sends a warning letter or two, before handing you a pretty hefty fine. However, if you've been gamesharing at all, it could have something to do with that. Either way, that sucks dude, you might just need to make a new account.

MemberA friend of mine has the official one, it works pretty well. I have the Madcatz, it works exactly just as well. I got a good deal on mine, it was on sale and I had a gift card, but I think it was like $50 USD normal retail. If you think you're going to use it a lot, I'd pay for the good one, cause its really annoying to sound real fuzzy and hear real fuzzy. Whats the point of getting it if you can't understand people?

Memberjust found this thread and thought “wow, this totally never happened”… now that I have about 10 people on my friends list who have this game, I just want to reiterate that I'm still all about playing this, and no longer care what level or character type you're using. I'll speed you through if you need, or we can work together to get that level cap, really I'm down for whatever. Hit me up!

Damn. U guys are lucky. In my country there is no rental option
so I ahve to buy most games or exchange with frieds.Anyway – I'm sure I wont get it on release. I have to save so cash for GoW 3 – this is prioirty no ONE
. And BFBC2 as well
.
damn, what country is that? The idea of being unable to rent through a blockbuster or gamefly or one of the other numerous options around me just seems ludicrous. I mean I can even go 3 blocks to the comic book shop and rent movies and games from there. Seems to me that if you start up a rental business, you could bank some damn good money. You probably aren't the only person there wishin you could rent some stuff. BTW – good choice on GOW3, thats what I'm saving for too.

MemberAlso for glyphs its really easy to tell where you need to go yet by checking your database location entries. Any location with a glyph has the eye symbol on it. If its still a solid red, you haven't found it yet, so go to that building, put on eagle eye and run around until you find it. If its a faded red, you've already got it. The hard part is just trying to figure out where the particular building actually is.
Edit: Its also much easier to find stuff in the database by using the filters, you can have it filter to show only the buildings with glyphs on them.

MemberFirst off, I thought there was already a thread about this?
Second, yea, these games still rule, but I have the originals for PS2 and a b/c PS3, soooooo I'm not buying them again.
Third, there is a thread full of instructions for posting guides in the… da dah dah dahhhhh…. Guide Section!! check it. Primarily you need to remove all formatting by copy/pasting your guide into notepad, the copy/pasting into the post on the forum. From there do all your formatting.
Oh and Fourth (this is an afterthought), but all the graphics in the game are the original graphics. They did not touch anything up. All they did was put the game on blu-ray and in a format that could run it at optimal resolution on PS3. This is how the game was originally made, but the PS2 couldn't handle the 1080p graphical output. This is why the cutscenes are so noticeably different looking from the gameplay. The fact that this is all the original material with no touch up is really cool, because it shows how well made these games originally were.

MemberTheres definitely still lag. Not constantly, and I can't tell if its any better or worse,,, its just still there.

MemberThe new map is cool. It seems a bit smaller at first, but its because its two small areas layered directly on top of eachother. I really enjoyed the lower health, although I didn't get to play for very long. I found that I rape people with it, since they don't seem to realize that taking cover is more important now. It was just kill streak after kill streak using my pistol 90% of the time. It was almost too easy. Almost.

yh i'll probably get this when it's released ont sure of what other games to get though, probably gonna get FFXIII and MAG (but only if the graphics are better than the beta, i know they said they had to down the graphics for download issues but the UC2 beta fitted in 1.2gb and looked amazing) if i decide to not get MAG i'll get BFBC2 instead
considering that MAG had several enormous maps, 256 players, and a 5-6 Gig download by the second beta run, I'm not surprised they made this claim, and its a damn good thing. I wonder how much better they can make the graphics before it bogs down the network though.
Back on topic – this game is my biggest curiousity at the moment. It looks like it'll have a solid story line and the idea that it'll all play out differently based on your actions seems really cool. It could be the wave of the future, like a truly interactive movie. My main concern is that while it will almost definitely be entertaining to watch, will it still be fun to play? I'm still not sure if I want to buy it because of that… is it something I will want to pop in from time to time to play for fun? Or is it going to be a game I'll run through a couple times to see the different story branches, and then forget about? If it is, its just a rental for me.

well i went 34-7 yesterday on wasteland, TDM, i got a harrier strike (7 kills) that got me 4 kills so i got a chopper gunner (11 kills) and i got like 13 kills which gave me an emp. the funny thing was the kept spawning at the same place everytime so i was just spawn killing them

I've had that problem a few times… some guy got the chopper gunner and I just kept spawning out in the open. Saw on his kill cam he just kept shooting in that direction and we just kept popping up. Really, Really annoying. to the extreme.

Member@W4R – ah, sorry about that – I uncovered the truth about halfway through the game, and didn't really think about that you could beat the game and not uncover it. I was just too damn curious to let it go.
@Parnakas – agreed on the trilogy thing. It seems that 3 really is the magic number,,, when movies and games go beyond that, they get stale usually. I really won't complain about them making more than that if they keep it fresh, but I don't expect that to happen.
EDIT: I guess my questions were my mind rambling kinda… what I really meant by “why are adam and eve running?” was more or less “what are they running from?”. Cause yea, Ghost, it does seem pretty obvious, they took the apple and now they run. So are they running from these creators, or robots, or the wierd looking humanoid things that were constructing something in the video,,,, orrr some crazy ass monster thing thats gonna rip their heads off and use it for a beer mug afterwards? I guess this is why I hate stories with loose ends… I just keep asking questions that won't get answered.

Memberalso, try resetting your ps3's audio/video settings (you know, hold the power button down when you turn it on until it beeps a second time?). then it will detect your tv's optimal settings blah blah blah…. you know the rest, right?
BigWoopMagazine
MemberSeems to be an innapropriate setting considering the current war in Afghanistan, and the recent orders handed down for us to send more troops there in June or July. Oh well, I guess nothing is off limits for mainstream media anymore. I think its going to be a looooooooooooooooong time before I buy anymore FPS games though, unless something incredibly innovative comes out.

Have you guys saw that in the main menu says that Althair is in the game. Well i ve been to the level where we see Althair. We see him in a dream of Desmont

I know the guy above you put a spoiler warning… but for future reference, you should too. Just was reading through these and thought I'd point that out. If I hadn't played all of these through already, I'd probably be really annoyed right now.
BigWoopMagazine
Memberwell, if we're talking video games, look at my GOTY list in that other thread. Otherwise, lets bump them down a bit by putting Footbag Net, Paintballing, Chess, and Go on the top.
