Memberwell, reading that indicates it will take place in Forli…. so… no new area, but new missions? hmmm…. not sure what to think of that

MemberSWEET. Thats fantastic news to me. I loved the story line of the PS2 trilogy, and the great combination of gameplay elements. I wasn't surprised when they tried to go a new direction with the PS3 PoP, but was really dissapointed at the lack of difficulty, and repetitive and overly simple gameplay. If they bring back the multiple enemy combat system, the time manipulation, and the puzzles that are actually puzzling (and require some time manipulation), well I will be a happy camper indeed!

My game of the year award goes to…
Ghostbusters: The Video Game
Why? The graphics were great, the story was great and all the GBs returned to provide character voices. As a huge Ghostbuster fanatic, this game was perfect. You FEEL like a Ghostbuster while you play it. Loved it.
I glad I read this, you just reminded me that I want that game on my Xmas list. sweet. Also, Batman AA should have been listed as the 5th one on my earlier post. The only reason I didn't put it closer to the top was the length of the game… I beat it so quick. Short games are pissing me off lately, they don't seem worth $60. Batman AA is forgiven, since every single thing was top notch about it.

Right so can any1 confirm whether the number of activiations has changed, i live in the UK if that makes any difference.
I cant seem to open the link BigWoopMagazine posted, but ty anyway m8.
That link is to a page that says the number never changed, and therefore is currently at 5. Region does not make a difference in this case.

MemberI've had no problems either, except trophies not syncing properly, but that started happening before the update. That doesn't necessarily mean there aren't other issues, but they're probably rare.

Memberfor the record – that app on the psn store simply allows the ps2 games to access system information that otherwise is not readily available, such as the local time, system settings, etc. Some games require it, most do not. Still a good idea to download it though.

Membersome guy was doing this to me last night, it was pissing me off…. I was kinda wondering how he was pulling it off but I think this thread just explained it.

sounds like bad luck bigwoop… buy a wii and get all the games from there. that's what i ended up doing with my wii. buying the games they make now days was pointless so i bought every old game i ever owned for it lol
yea, a combination of bad luck and bad decisions. Ah well, the only ones I was really concerned about losing were The Guardian Legend and Blaster Master. Most people don't even know what they are, so somehow I doubt they're for sale on the Wii.

MemberI'm still having trouble too. I've gotten it to sync once in the past two weeks. I've decided to just give up until the next firmware update, and hope that they fix it. Hopefully my HDD doesn't crap out in the meantime, which would be just my luck.

Member@Cowboys – easy way to figure it out…. hit the d-pad in a direction, then hold L2. if you see a beam in front of your character and he's holding a medusa head, you have the right one. If not… hit a different directional button, and try again. Process of elimination dude!
@W4R – Not on the regular mode, no. However, there is definitely some very difficult parts on the harder modes (that would make sense, wouldn't it?). Also, the challenge arenas are definitely a pain in the ass until you figure out what to do. The nice thing is that the controls are really really responsive, so when you learn to use them really well, the difficult parts aren't so frustrating. I really didn't have much trouble on the harder modes, since I had a lot of practice first, and if you find all the bonus chests early (cyclops eyes and feathers) they turn into experience chests. If you max out your experience early, they all turn into health chests. So if you do it right, by the end of the game there should be tons of extra health around.

MemberI think you guys might find this very interesting:
It seems theres nothing to worry about, we're still at 5 activations.

Member@Antony – right, most people did, but this thread is about the endings, which means its about the single player. Also, to me the multiplayer is an extension of a game. Single player is the core experience, its the anchor, the motivation to shoot these people, its the gauntlet. I like running the gauntlet, I like a good story, and I hate when loose ends are left open.
Games and movies have been doing this a lot lately and its pissing me off, cause its just a gimmick to set up for a sequel. Finish the damn story, if they want to make a sequel, make up a new story. Dammit.
BigWoopMagazine
MemberI've been holding back for a while now on this, until everyone had a chance to finish the game, and then kinda forgot in the meantime… but now that you guys bring it up.
:::::SPOILER WARNING::::: :::::SPOILER WARNING::::: :::::SPOILER WARNING:::::
The ending, in every way, was as epic as could be. The chase was great, the fight was great, the knife in the eye, beautiful. Ok, that said… There a HUGE point that everyone seems to forget. What the ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** happened to Makarov?! The entire game is about hunting this guy down (lets not forget the airport scene where we blatently let him go after hes right in our sights), he starts an international war, kills thousands of civilians, but oh, General Sheperd betrayed us, forget Makarov, we're just gonna get him. Bullshit! This campaign was short as hell, and clearly unfinished at 5 hours in length. They didn't even bother to wrap up the story. Yeah, Sheperd is out of the way, but there's still work to do. Dammit this is IW milking the cow. Now they can set up for another 5 hour sequel and sell it at full price, since all the sheep out there are happy with paying full price for a short game thats really just some tweeks on the old one. There should have been AT LEAST one or two more missions hunting down Makarov. Doesn't this piss anyone else off?
End Spoiler.
