Membersoo wait… we can't play call of duty 4? whenever we want? Is there a schedule now? Am I missing something? Do I not have a web browser that would actually let me use the internet I'm paying for? To look at twitter? and Facebook? and e-mail? and news? and boobs? Am I missing something here? Hmmm… funny… I thought PSN could do all those things… ahhh well… I guess its good I don't pay for these things I apparently don't have.

MemberI'm 23. We used to have an atari, but my first real memory of video games was unboxing an NES and playing Mario and Zelda with my older brother. We had an old computer around that time too, where you had to put floppy disks that were actually floppy into it in order to run any applications (dig dug all the way!). I still have the golden version of Legend of Zelda and a few others, but unfortunately my NES no longer outputs sound and the video is only black and white… I have no idea why.

Memberahhh… I'll believe it when I see it… due to the nature of this rumor for the past couple months. Sure would be cool though. On a side note, holy shit that website has a buttload of ads! and then it says Ad space available… I don't think theres any more room! It was incredibly confusing

besides the fact the guy did 3 guides in a quick amount of time how do you find out whether people are cheating
just google a couple different sentences from the guide. usually something will come up, and once you read what you found you can tell if it was a straight copy or not. Sometimes people will be smart and try to change the formatting and order, but any sentence thats retained in its entirety will pop up. This is how my professors in college would catch people plagerizing papers. Try it out. take admin's statement:
“odarksoul” just posted 3 guides this morning, all of which was stolen from another website.
and enter it in. This page pops right up.
PS: Admin, I love how you publicly humiliate them on the forums by posting this, instead of just taking them down and not saying anything. Its well deserved.

MemberQuake was my first online shooter. I was trying out for a clan by facing the leader in a deathmatch. I knew I was good at this game, and was so sure of myself, cause I always wooped ass online. What shocked the hell out of me was when I thought I had the guy, and he exploded, flew about 10 stories in the air, and took me out with the gatling gun from mid air, and landed on a platform above me. WTF just happened?!?! This was the first time I ever saw a rocket jump (and this is the game that birthed this method). He beat me 25-0, and then told me I did well. Always room for improvement though, right?

You can choose another faction by deleting your current profile.
As for the graphics part of the game it's not all that good. Reminds me more of a good PS2 game than a PS3 game reallly. Framerate is the key to shooter games and there's drops very often. But I guess it's something you have to live with if you want that many players in a game.
yeah thats pretty much how I feel… It doesn't look like Uncharted 2 by any means. But with 256 live players firing bullets, activating aerial attacks, running around in vehicles, blowing up and repairing structures, etc, etc, I don't expect it to look like that. For me, thats not make or break in the game, as long as I can see what I'm shooting. The way it plays is what truly matters, and thats what it does well.
Oh and yeah… damn. I was hoping I could do it without deleting my profile, I never considered doing that. Thanks for the heads up admin.

MemberAh. Unfortunately I have been made aware that I cannot discuss specific details of the game… I guess cause its a beta.
@Domba – yeah I saw that video a while ago… the differences they describe are very general. Its about appearance and attitude primarily. I was looking more for details on weapons and perks, etc. Apparently I'll just have to try them out.
@Parnakas – How do you create a new character? I was trying to, but couldn't find an option to.
@Jeg – So far the game looks great. I think the graphics look much better when you actually play it than when watching the videos that are out. On top of that, this game still has a good 6 months before release, giving a lot of time to polish the graphics. The important part is the gameplay, which I think is really good. If they release a demo for this, give it a shot.
For anyone else – There is another Beta on the way. I did anyone who's interested a favor and found the link to get in. You need to pre-order the game, and you have to do it through this website.
http://blog.us.playstation.com…..-your-pmc/
Also, the pre-order Beta starts in October, so I would assume you need to pre-order by then. Once again, any Ravens PM me on PSN to play!

Member@NinjaCat – First off, this game plays similar to Modern Warfare… just bigger maps, different upgrade system for choosing loadouts… lots more people, more modes, great graphics, and a slightly different control scheme. If you like MW I see no reason you wouldn't like this. I think the ability to lead and command a squad or platoon is very cool, its a good feeling when your side wins because you made good command decisions, and everyone works together. The guns seem really powerful, it only takes a few shots to drop most people… however you can choose different armor to counteract it, armor slows you down. Generally speaking its like MW on an enormous scale, theres just a lot more going on. Whether that be tanks coming at you while your teammates cover you from a helicopter, only to hear that your AA turrets have gone offline and seconds later get carpet bombed by enemy planes, all while trying to fend off the two squads coming at the strategic point your trying to defend, or a number of other crazy scenarios. It all feels much more exciting and epic. I highly recommend checking it out.
@Domba_car – As far as I can tell you choose a team and stick with it. However I am only playing the Beta, so maybe in the full game you'll have the option to create different characters that play with other teams. Of course, the long way around is to just log in under a different account for each team. I can't do it with the Beta though, because of the code. Anyway, they seem pretty balanced, I just wish I knew what the exact differences were between the team abilities and possible loadouts, so I could decide more easily what my preference is. ATM I'm not sure it makes a huge difference.

Knoxie – MOST people will be getting it.
There are some people who hate FPS or the COD series, and whatnot.
But any shooter fan will most likely get MW2.
Im still debating.. probably will get it though..
no-one i know hates COD.. NO-ONE.
but i guess some will hate FPS's.
you do know you dont have to get it but i can bet that it will be amazing just like 4 and 5. still think GOTY easy.
and COD4 guns are the boyyo, look much better than killzones and resistances imo!
woah woah woah. whats wrong with resistance 2's guns? that was like the best part of that game! they were cool and original! unlike those kz2 guns. the bullseye, tag your enemy? the auger! – shoot through walls, and pop up shields! the sniper that slows down time,,, so awesome looking!
BTW – while I loved cod4, I too am up in the air right now about MW2. after buying waw and getting sick of it almost instantly, I'm worried about buying more of the same. I think I might just get Assassin's Creed 2 instead, and MAG next year.

i would like to see what you think is wrong with GOW.
Besides the fact that i blow(woops) at button mashers GOW is pretty damn epic , and since a movie in talks im getting pretty intrested how it will be done . With a good actor and someone that actually looks like the character ( my stab at the chosen actor for the uncharted movie imo ) it can come out really succesful . Then again , this can be like a remake of Clash of the Titans which is also being made , since its all in the Greek mythology genre .
god of war isn't a button masher if you play skillfully. what combo you do and when becomes extremely important in the harder modes, and the controls are really responsive. Thats what I love about this game (besides it being so badass). I didn't know there were talks of a movie… thats exciting and scary at the same time… I always fear they'll ruin it. Exactly what I worry about for the Prince of Persia movie.
Also, my truly most anticipated game for about the past 10 years…. STARCRAFT 2. I forgot to list this earlier, I don't have a computer that will run it, or the money to buy one, and its the only reason I would want a new computer.

Memberbroken physics? if he could levitate what he's standing on, he could levitate himself, and therefore just fly. And then what would be the point of the game, when the current objective is to figure out how to traverse the levels? Its called a gameplay mechanic.

MemberSo, I just finished Bioshock again recently, and while I knew its a great game, I am reminded of just how great! So of course, I'm anxious for the sequel. And of course, we have a while to go… but I was looking for info about it, and went back to its 'mysterious website'…. anyone been on there lately?
http://www.somethinginthesea.com
there used to be a lot less on it, now theres a ton more info of backstory about this guy looking for his kidnapped daughter, and he appears to have found some relics from rapture… which are puzzles to solve. I've solved part of it… heh, but they're hard. Does anyone else think this is cool, or am I wierd?
