For the most part the new features are good.  I am really annoyed about the stock ticker type thing in the corner.  I hate it, I want it gone, and I used to be able to turn it off before 3.0.  Why can't I now?  I also don't like my background blurring out when I click things… yea it may be nifty at first, but I set the background for a reason – I want to see it.  Also, why do we need a shortcut to the PSstore on every tab?  Is it that hard to find?  It seems a bit much,,, really its like a shameless self promotion.  Now we have What's New – which links to the PSstore.  A PSstore shortcut on every tab.  And if you still don't know that you can buy stuff at the store, a constant marquee in the upper right telling you about it for the third friggin' time!  None of this is really that big a deal, just small nuicances that irritate me and I needed to vent.

Really? I liked the first one a lot… except playing as that blonde bimbo, I hated those parts.  But really, read the reviews for it on xbox.  Its good. 

God I hate that blood jelly.  Blood doesn't look like that! sorry! Everything else looks fantastic, but I'm just disgusted by that stupid effect.  Oh well.. at least theres plenty of new stuff to change up the strategies for this game, which is what I'm really looking for.  And an option to turn that blood off, heh.

:::sigh::: if you guys read the announcements, they made it very clear there will be free and premium avatars and themes.  They might not be out yet… but patience is a virtue.  So yeah, some avatars will cost money, if you don't wanna spend it, keep your old one.  Whats the beef?  I don't see anyone complaining about paying a buck for an LBP costume, and its essentially the same thing.  If anyone didn't see the other thread, there is a free dynamic “Afrika” theme on the JPN PSN store.  I don't have a JPN account, but I've heard its pretty cool.  What makes me curious is what's going to be so special about the new avatars that they're worth money?  No real details on that… and so far, I don't see how thats any different from them charging for a virtual shirt in home.  Its really nothing new.  By the way, heres a couple other features you guys may have overlooked:

• Internet Connection Speed Test – Check your internet connection upload/download speed. Go to [Network Settings] > [Internet Connection Test]
• Internet Browser Screen Capture Feature – Press Triangle on Internet Browser, then under File > Save Screenshot.
• Custom Remote Play Settings – Manually set a device (such as a PSP system) to be used for remote play.

So yeah, wondering if you got the bandwidth to host a game? Now you can check it.  You like that nudie picture but can't figure out how to save it? Now you can.  That last feature,,, I'm not so sure what that means, but its in the list.  Can anyone explain how that's different from before?

Ha I still own them both and they work on my ps3.  Am I going to buy them again to see it in HD and get trophies?…. maybe… Easiest platinums ever for me, I played these games to death.  Still very cool.
