Membermeh. I don't care who develops the next one I ain't buying it. This series is at the point of retardation and quickly heading further down the slope to complete brainlessness. “Oh it sold well! quick, make 5 more sequels with no thought or innovation and cram them down the open throats of our customers while telling them its brand new and great and not complete trite!”
Edit: can anyone say “Played out”? say it with me now…. plaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyeeed out.

Memberindeed. well, too late, already own it. apparently some guy on that site is nuts enough to buy his 4th copy, WTF?! and I'm just waiting for the firmware update so I can have all my games in 3D.

MemberI think I would have just said screw the trophies and opened a new account by now. Seriously, this is way too long to stay offline for when you don't even know what you did, if anything, to get your account locked.

MemberI miss my extra USB ports. And my backwards compatibility. I don't know what to do with my old PS2 games now!

MemberBeat this again last night (twice actually). One of those times was me trying to get every character to die at the earliest opportunity. Madison died at doctor deaths, Norman died at Madjack's, Ethan didn't die but got captured by the police, and this resulted in Shelby just walking away in the rain. I could not get scott to die either, even leaving the ropes tied up in the car so he would drown, he still climbs out, and then in the shoot out I let him get shot a lot but he just runs away. It seems the only way he can die is all the way at the end and it has to result through the actions of another character. Which kinda sucks. When they originally talked about this game with “if a character dies the story continues” I never thought it would be this difficult to have the characters die. I assumed the difficulty would be having them survive. Did anyone else find that a little misleading?
There was something else I noticed last night that didn't make sense, but can't remember what it was at the moment. Don't be surprised if you see another post regarding that eventually, which nobody replies to anyway.

MemberIt'll be Resistance 3 or Infamous 2 – both are sequels that are definitely coming but are unnanounced. I think it'll be a little longer before we see LBP2, since they just released the psp version and the water DLC somewhat recently, and theres still a really strong community for LBP. LBP2 should have some major changes to warrant releasing a sequel, and that will take it past this year for a release.

MemberThis is slightly old news… but I'm not sure its been discussed anywhere else on this site. Here's the article I read regarding it:
Thats the last time I heard anything on a release date, and I can only speculate on the reasoning for the delays. Keep in mind that they have over 1000 cars in the game, so it seems to me that they are trying to make the selection span a large time frame, and might be putting finishing touches on the newer model cars. I really don't know what else it could be.

Few sexist remarks in here, guess it's safe to assume most of you guys don't have girlfriends. Spud maybe you just hit a soft spot who knows, everyone has feelings though so it's not a weird situation at all. Would it be weird if it were the other way around and the boyfriend told you to f**k off?
Assumption is the mother of all ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** ups. Anyone who has had a girlfriend for longer than 3 weeks knows that sound reason and logic go out the window for a couple of days once a month, and its irritating as all living hell. This generally explains any confusion resulting from a retarded conversation, like the one originally mentioned here. Solution: walk away, grabba beer.

Memberuhhhh not exactly. I've had the reverse, where I'm playing an online game and get a network error that signs me out of PSN, but I'm still able to continue my online game.

MemberI had it happen a while ago. Had to have sony fix it. It was right before my 1 year warranty was up. It sucks dude.

Member@Miiiitch – I think for Nerd I triggered the mad jack fight scene too early, I never went in the office. And as far as the black outs go – it lead me to think the same thing, that Ethan was John's brother… but he's not, so now it just doesn't make sense that this is where he keeps waking up. So then I started to think somehow Scott was manipulating it, with gas or something – but then I can't figure out why he would do it multiple times. Either way, he always wakes up with an origami figure, so he must encounter scott while blacked out for some reason.

US, February 28, 2010 – SCEA is looking into widespread reports tonight of PlayStation Network errors causing many to not be able to play games, and even lose trophies, on their PlayStation 3 consoles.
“We're aware that many of you are having problems connecting to PSN, and yes, we're looking into it,” the company said in a statement. “Stay tuned for updates.”
Forum members and e-mail tipsters are saying this problem is primary affecting owners of the older model of the PlayStation 3, and is even causing users to lose trophies previously earned. Many titles, such as Heavy Rain, are now unplayable due to connection issues with Sony's servers.
One theory points to an issue with the console's internal calendar, which is resetting pre-slim consoles to 12/31/1999. It's unclear at the moment how widespread this issue is.
IGN has contacted SCEA for an update on what's causing these errors. We'll keep you updated
Why is this in this thread?
Is anyone making a trophy guide for this game? There's one or two trophies that could use a list of events/actions that need to be taken to complete them – while I have no intention of making a guide, I wouldn't mind assisting or getting help compiling a list of actions for a specific trophy or two. In the interest of not posting spoilers (I have beaten the game) personally message me regarding this if you are interested.
