I think it said in the link that anyone online before the “cut-off” time would get the PSN as usual and it's only those trying to get online after that can't…
So don't switch it off if it's on!

This is not a good thing, now that i can't wound or kill my friend's online when they p!ss me off… I might have to go do it for real now

From my extensive research and exhaustive debate and discussion with my many, many learned friends, IMO, and without actual “playtime” i would say yes, the Wipeout HD is a harder…
The skill set needed for the two games is very diff. – And i would say more “skill” is needed for Wipout…

At least they haven't mentioned anything about a “weapons system”, but Motorstorm IMO was all about learning the terrain, how each vehicle handled… Learning all the bumps and slides, how to make the perfect corner… All about the driving!
They seem to be moving further and further away from the original idea. Trying to add more “action” – weep. And i would say we have enough of those already? MS was a pure driving experience albeit on alternative surfaces… No weapons, no mods, just driving…
MS2 was pretty good, and i liked the diff. areas… The use of water and how it effected boost etc.
It's sad to see the MS franchise trying to fit in with the more “mainstream” driving games… I just hope they don't spoil it to much
