This game is fcuking terrible. I only played it for about 2-3 hours and it’s just shameful how after 12 years it’s unpolished to the point where the graphics and gameplay feel dated back to when Duke was somewhat relevant. In the first moments of the game, Duke picks up a turd from the toilet. That is basically what this game is equal to. A wet peice of crap. I thought Homefront was better. $60 plus tax is $61 plus tax too much for this game. That’s right, the cashier should pay you a dollar to attempt such a disastrous game. Please do not buy, rent, nor buy this game from anyone. If it is free, just leave it there. I’m not frustrated so much as dissapointed. Assassin’s Creed comes out with a game every year and it still beats a Duke game 12 years in development. I can’t honestly see why Gearbox would take the helm and release when they didn’t even change a thing to when it was last updated. If my reveiw isn’t enough, just look at the critics who will echo my opinion. $60 is too much for stupid, unpolished, nostalgia.

What really bothers me is that I can’t see Ezio doing anything else. ACB provided closure for ezio while leaving you confused and wanting to know more about what the fcuk happened to desmond. Then again, I have not as of yet played the Da Vinci Dissapearance but from what I can tell it just looks like tying up ACB loose ends? Not a prequel? I don’t know but I lost a lot of respect for ubisoft when I had that BS trophy glitch happen to me twice, SP once and MP once. I already replayed the SP once for the artifact trophy.And now I have to play it thrice for 100% sync? Great… And while doing this I realised something. The series is just dragging it out, sacrificing plot points for more sequels, and more sequels leading to another 11 mil. The Mp was terrible I might add, it was only created for the audience that like it when things get stabbed instead of the the Pacci Conspiracy. Then they add that again. AC2 was a much better game than AC1 and I’m not exactly thrilled about returning there either. It seems that Black Ops had a better story than ACB and based on the series performance I would say it’s an apt comparison. Anyway, that’s my rant. I will buy this despite my disgust at ubi, simply because I would like to see the climax and resolution of this long tale.

I don’t think I’m going to jump into MP first thing. I have two SP trophies in Mortal Komat to go (aside from My Kung Fu is Stronger) Ladder Master and I need to complete challenge 300. I’m just going to do those for the weekend while everyone online-side faces the fearsome lag of 75 million + plus users on at once….

That’s incredibly generous seeing how it was only down for 2 weeks. Maybe that will get the idiots who want to sue to shut the hell up.

For sure. I have it on pre order so I get an extra DLC chapter 😀 I’ve heard there isn’t that many shootouts, mostly just story. Rockstar are brilliant story tellers and it’ll be a break from the ridiculous 250+ challenges in MK. (They seem to use Shao Kahn in almost every challenge now) Love the time period.

Shao Khan really pissed me off at the end, it took me like an hour to beat him
 and a’m gonna do the same, do some of the challenge tower. I have a question for u, how did u feel when u beat him? I was so happy, words cannot describe it

What I felt was shame. After getting my ass handed to me for an hour and a half I just changed the difficulty to beginner. I played the entire thing on medium just for a victory that didn’t seem “real” lol
