They also add a skin for the multiplayers or something, still not worth it, they are more meant for people who didnt play them, thats what I think anyway.

Collectibles are just a way to extend the time you spend on/in the game. You'll quite frequently see games companies PR departments saying that you get 'x' amount of hours from the single player mode but an extra 4-5 with all the “bonus content”!!

This is fine if the content is interesting, however, lets be honest, if it wasn't for the trophies very few of us would have bothered with the vehicles, landmarks and film reels. Same with the feathers in the AC games etc

I'm not too bothered about the lack of set pieces. It would have maybe spoilt the game a bit to have had anything too “Hollywood” included. Could you imagine watching LA Confidential with a Bad Boys 2 scene??

The only real gripe I have is that a number of my friends who are Police Officers have played the game and have failed miserably on the interrogations/intervews and I don't think that part of the game was particularly well done (and as a CSI it did drive me a little bit mad when Cole kept picking up blood stained wrenches etc ).

As much as I enjoyed the game, there is very little to keep me coming back, apart from the trophies (DAMN YOU SONY ) and once the final bits of DLC are released I will no doubt be trading it.

Same thing I'm doing. Last dlc comes on july 12th here in canada, so I'll trade it in on the 13th And the reason he kept picking up the “bloody wrenches etc.” with his bare hands, is because they actually did that a whole lot in the 40's. They did not really do much finger print analasis then, not until the late 50's and early 60's.

You get a 20% bonus in XP for playing online but absolutely everything can be done offline. I just played the whole thing co-op (which counts as online) with my brother. One of the trophies needed a third person and gr8jrfan helped us out.

how good is the game on a scale from 1-10. i was planing on renting a game soon and was wondering about it.

They aren't fixing them on the 5th anniversary edition, all they are doing is puting it in a metal box, giving a new map, and a $10 voucher for skyrim, a good deal if u havent already got the game, and plan on getting skyrim.

i found those parts refreshing, because they lead you off from the basic aim and shoot like usually. and i forgot about the upgrade one

I beat it on normal in about 7 and a half hours. But I am usually quick at beating games, so lets say about 9-10 and if you play it on hard then 11-12. There are three levels of difficulty easy, normal, and hard. The missable trophies would probably be the ones where you have to find the collectables, and the one where you have to shot and enemy in the head after shooting him in the leg, while he is in mid-air! Good game all together, but i could see someone platinuming it in about 25 hours, so maybe a rental.
