Finally beat that poxy Survival trophy in Tekken Tag 2 then spent the morning grinding out ghost battles to rank up.

The evening was devoted to Resonance of Fate but I cuoldn't bring myself to do any more of the arena so I completed a good portion of the story instead. Just on to chapter 12 and so far I've everything tidied up (except the bastard arena) so if I continue like this I'll only have to speed-run my second playthrough for a single trophy.

I've no problem grabbing a digital copy of a game as I never trade in and with a 500GB drive I have plenty of room. But that only goes for the stuff I get off PS+. New titles in the store come with a tag between €59.99 and €69.99 and that's just a rip-off when I can expect to pick them up in a shop for around €54.99 or even less from an online store like Amazon.

Plenty of football on today so not too much gaming. I tried my hand at Tekken again but after having to resist the urge to snap the disc in two I switched to Resonance of Fate. Not that it went much better. I yawned through another few ranks in the arena before getting my ass handed to me in what could only be described as 'Difficulty Spike: Defined'.

Spent most of today tackling Tekken Tag 2. The trophy list isn't too bad but there's a couple of grinds in there that'll piss me off. And I got abused online altogether!

The ten wins in survival has been wrecking my head (which is balls as I got it in T6 and TTHD no bother). And the 'Great' combo is proving beyond me. I don't know if my timing is off or I'm just using the wrong moves.

Another day spent grinding in RoF. Although I've the first chunk of it done. All three of my characters are level 100 with machine guns so now I can just progress with the story until I need to go back to the arena and boost hand guns and grenades.

I know where you're talking about now. I'm a good bit further than that. I haven't found any of those stand alone puzzles too hard but there's been plenty of sections where I've been standing in the middle of an area without a fcuking clue where to go next. There's at least two puzzles I've passed without even slightly understanding what I was doing!

I've started into this myself. I have it for the PC so I was prett confident of the first few puzzles but I never played that far into the game. I've just entered the arcade so I don't think I'm at your triangle problem yet.

I spent quite a bit of the weekend on Resonance of Fate and managed to make decent progress, another few ranks in the arena and some solid leveling up.

I've also put a good bit of time into Deus Ex. I think I'm nearly finished the first section (Detroit) and so far I've grabbed every e-book, killed no-one and haven't set off any alarms. Although I could have set myself up for a tough boss battle. In my haste to get the 'Pacifist' trophy I forgot that I'll still have to kill a couple of people as part of the story. I now have one area to try and grab a gun and as much ammo as possible and hope it's enough!

That's the biggest price jump for a product I've seen. It actually costs ten times the price most people would consider an expensive TV of the current generation. Although they're obviously going for the 'wow' factor and trying to shock people with the 84″ as I'd imagine anyone considering buying this would probably go for a smaller model. I'd assume the more frequently purchased 40″ will be a damn sight cheaper.
