MemberHas anyone tried 'Datura' yet? It's from the crowd that did 'Linger in Shadows' but it's a little pricey for an “interactive project”.

Anybody know if it's worth it?

Member@Doc.
I'm not sure if I even have the DLC but I'll help if I can. What's the “wait five hours” method? Is it just camping at a box?
I have four so far from one playthrough and I think Mojo has two.

MemberSo we finished our first playthrough (With all location, thanks to gr8jrfan and Finch) and both our characters are level 48 so we'll be starting New Game+ to hit the 50.
Apart from the trophies for playing with different people (accounts
) we still need “Rootin, Tootin, Lootin”. Anyone got any hints that might make the search go smoother or are we just going to have to hope for a bit of luck?

MemberYou'll probably laugh, but I actually loved Silent Hill. I have two copies of it!
I watched 'Falling Down' yesterday. I hadn't seen it in over fifteen years and I'd forgotten how much I liked it. With the exception of some of the supporting cast (who are so exaggerated they seem like caricatures of themselves) and one terrible punch the movie has aged really well. And Douglas is awesome the whole way through.
And last night I sat down with my inner child and watched 'Kung Fu Panda 2'. Maybe not as many laughs as the first one but still awesome fun.

Member“The Ghost of Tom Joad”
The live version performed by Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello. I got linked this on Facebook and hadn't heard it before and it just blew me away.

MemberAfraid that's a no on the robots so far Doc. But there have been references to “machines” so maybe…
Anyway, I've been handed my first assignment and it's just a slightly more complex version of the odd jobs I've been doing so far. Every task up to now has been a case of “Get me x amount of y” which means I have to go off to gathering areas and click on bushes with my fingers crossed, hoping that it'll have what I'm looking for.
The items needed for the main assignment can't be found in bushes though so I've to use my alchemy skills and “synthesise” with my foraged ingredients. There's a whole host of modifiers and variables that I haven't a notion of yet but I think I've got the basics down.
The gathering areas are where you have to fight enemies and these have varied between blue lumps with eyes to the odd green lump with eyes, but the last area I visited delivered a difficulty spike in the shape of wolves that had the same HP as my characters. I have now discovered you don't die in this game but are simply rendered unconscious…

MemberA lot of people are complaining about the Avengers 3D. And not just that it's bad but that it's making people feel ill. I know Mojo and his mate went to see it and had to keep looking away from the screen because their eyes were hurting.

MemberWhat are you looking to boost in Tekken 6? As far as I know you only need one ranked and one unranked win, after that it's just play x amount of matches. Can you not find any games online?

MemberFinished off the MW3 DLC trophies with gr8jrfan and got my Trine 2 plat in the space of a few hours. Not a bad days gaming.

MemberDid you play it solo? Because it was fairly dodge like that. I only ever enjoyed it co-op.

MemberYaaay!
Kristoff and his ridiculous facial hair have finally turned up! If you haven't broken any fingers when BO II arrives you might be able to re-join the coalition. Even if it's performance did improve in your absence!!

I have a couple guesses. He could've thrown the grenade away and used the guy to break his fall, or maybe it was just Mason's imagination, or he was revived with future tech. Or maybe since he was the most liked in Black Ops 1, they just brought him in it so it can stay “Black Ops” instead of “Future Warfare”. And by the way, IRISH AMERICAN COALITION FTW!!!!!
I second that motion!!
Those hi-tec future zombies are fcuked

MemberI read an article during the week claiming that video games make us more dangerous as they improve our accuracy and weapons handling. At the time I remember wondering (through a fog of utter rage) how the Hell moving two analogue sticks with my thumbs could ever affect my handling of a real weapon (weight, recoil, accuracy etc.) and that their reference to Anders Breivik playing Black Ops to hone his skills was actually criminally stupid.
However after spending several hours playing the DLC Spec Ops missions in MW3 with gr8jrfan last night, I've realised that I was looking at it from the wrong angle. The article is still shit on paper but my arguement about weapons was all wrong. Because the real discrepancy between games and real life is people. I've never been in a live hostage situation but I'm pretty fcuking sure the hostages don't go out of their way to throw themselves in front of their would-be rescuers bullets and play fetch with fcuking grenades. They don't jump up and down, walk backwards or float in mid-air. And I'd be willing to bet that no psycho has ever had to deal with aiming at his hostage only to lag back into the room he just left…
So to the anonymous author at the Daily Mirror: It's an awful pity mass murderers don't actually use games to train. Because if they did, they wouldn't be able to hit a single fcuking thing in the real world!

MemberThat game is shocking bad. I had to play through the bastard twice because I missed one or two collectables (random areas locking off after I completed the missions
) and they don't count across playthroughs so I had to do every mission and side-game to get 100% stat completion the second time round…

MemberI'll pick this up for zombies. I know it's only one game mode but between the on-disc stuff and the DLC on the first BO myself and gr8jrfan must have spent days trying for the trophies.
