MemberA day with no PSN put paid to any online I had planned so I turned to the collectables and misc. trophies in Crysis 2. There's only one per level needed for the trophy so it's not too much of a hunt but I'm trying to pick up any level specific trophies I need as well.
That was going well until Semper fi or Die. You're paired up with a squad of marines and you have to keep the whole lot alive. They got utterly pasted on Supersoldier so I was hoping to have better luck on Recruit.
Not so much… Every time I turn my back a Ceph lands on one of them and hacks the guy to bits. The level is so jumbled it's impossible to mind them all at once and even taking on the Ceph head-on to attract them all I'm losing guys. If anyone has a method or tactics that they found worked for them then fire it my way!
So after giving up on Crysis (
) I decide to try out the Castlevania DLC that we got four weeks after the states… And it's bloody hard. I'm playing it on paladin but some of the puzzles are making a mockery of me. I don't know if I've chosen difficult games or if I'm just shite today but the stress levels are peaking!! I think I need to go play Eyepet…

MemberSo apparently you just double tap triangle…

This wasn't explained in the game and somehow my eye just skipped over it when I checked the control layout in the menu.
Anyhow, discovered and unlocked.

I'm a United fan but The Spurs v Arsenal match tonight was one of the best games of football I have ever seen. Both teams played like their lives depended on it and you couldn't take your eyes off the screen. The skill and tenacity shown by both side put the rest of the league to shame.
I was actually cheering on every move by both sides and every shot was either a good goal or an awesome save. I pity what ever poor sod had to pick the Man of the Match

MemberIt does go down pretty quick but I think that adds to the tactical element, the limit brings a tension to the stealth. If you had too much energy it would be far too easy just to stroll around ambushing everyone.
If I was to level a criticism at the game it would have to be problems with the stealth kill. For some reason it doesn't work quite a bit and often I've crept up behind a guy only to whack him with the regular meleé attack because the prompt wont pop up.

MemberYou'd choose Batman over the Duke?! I'm disappointed in you man…

MemberDecided to dabble with Crysis 2 and I'm impressed so far. It's a shooter but plays at a completely different pace to the other FPS titles I've been playing recently. I'm loving the stealth aspects.

MemberJust got 100% in RF: Battlegrounds. There's Trophies for DLC but it hasn't been released yet so I'm not counting it. The game is good fun, especially on local MP with a few friends.

MemberJust finished the SP in AC: Brotherhood so I'll be tackiling the MP soon enough.
But for a change of pace I'm trying to 100% RF: Battlegrounds. It's pretty simple stuff but some of the training missions are a bit tricky.

MemberYou're starting to come in pretty handy man
I'd forgotten you do one in the main story and I was just checking the 'Secondary Memories' section. In fact, I can actually remember the exact bollox that I looked at and thought “I'll come back to that later!”
Cheers!!

MemberI still have to get into the multiplayer properly but I have a few friends that want to play so when we're getting into it I'll let you know. I've only a few hours left in the SP so it'll be soon enough.

MemberThink cover based shooter that isn't quite sure where cover begins or ends and what qualifies as a hit-box. I got as far as some Russian style boss (on maximum hazard) and just got fed up with it.
Let me know how you get on and it might spark my motivation to finish it off for the plat.

MemberEat Lead is a serious pain in the ass. It's not too bad on the easier difficulties because you burn through it so fast you don't notice how badly it's made. But once you try it on hard it wears on the nerves.
Mini Ninjas, on the other hand, is actually quite enjoyable. I picked it up on a whim and surprised myself by enjoying it. It doesn't do anything amazing but after Eat Lead you'll just be glad to play a game that doesn't freeze, crash or glitch you through scenery.

MemberI forgot those guys. I have to re-do them anyway because I missed some flags in their lair.
