'Freezing Moon' from the album De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas by Mayhem.

I'm pretty sure I've already got this track mentioned her before but it just never gets old.

There are quite a few albums out there that have troubled stories behind their recording but I think this particular beast had a more difficult birth than most. The lyrics were written by a vocalist that killed himself before recording had even started and the music is written by both a murderer and his victim.

It's probably one of the most important black metal albums of all time and 'Freezing Moon' is an absolute masterpiece. The only let-down are the vocals and live versions with the original vocalist are much better.

'Tired of Waiting' from the album Cause and Effect by Speedking.

An unbelievably good début from an Irish band that are definitely going places.

I think I'll be ordering my copy from the states. The Helghast Ed. is $129.99 on Amazon.com and £149.99 on Amazon.co.uk.

That's €99 or €179. Even with a hefty P+P I'll still save money.

You guessed right Luke. I would love to pick up a drum kit but I'm fairly sure my neighbours would have me evicted. So I'm going with the guitar.

Well I can confirm Gnilsia failed with both targets. He's still smoking and drinks coffee with the consistency of tar.

Not really. The exclusives they have aren't worth it and, for me anyway, Kinect is a novelty that has nothing to do with actual gaming.
