thats the thing , there are rap bands that still do care about quality of music , but now they're even more under ground than 15 years ago. music industry+very bad rap = death of hip hop. honestly if i was a teen today i wouldnt be into hip hop i dont think. unless i discovered what i like , but chances are minimal.
and rappers like KRS one , Onyx , Public Enemy were sooooo huge in concert.
ps. when i was really young there was a maiden song i quite liked called 'run to the hills' i think , must have been like 7 at the time….lol

i just saw them in concert and they are still the best heavy metal band ever. Their comeback album, Brave New World, is the best metal album of the new generation, and A Matter Of Life And Death from 2007, was amazing. Iron Maiden is the Farthest thing from dead.
I think we both agree that 90% of new music SUCKS..its all about getting money, not the music anymore.

..actually i get your point , as i dont rate what has now been given the 'hip hop' label. namely bullshit r'n'b and bullshit rappers like 50 who have absolutely nothing to say , no finesse or no 2nd degree. so i've gone back to old school rap and definitely the funk & soul from when i was a kid . pretty much all rap made nowadays is crap, except some underground labels (def jux , stonesthrow…) , thats what industry does to you . having said that , what are you into POkenny ? i mean , we know you're not into rap and enrique iglesias …
