the controls can be changed, but i hate the fact that you have to hold down the crouch button, but the zoom is toggled.

i have cancelled my preorder, as i cannot really spend the cash now, as my wife gave birth on wednesday – 23 days early!!

i think i would have cancelled anyway – i was very disappointed with the demo.

whats really sad is people of his age are still going around pretending gaming has corrupted society. maybe if parents didnt need to both have jobs to feed their families , maybe if they stopped giving up on their kids and putting them in front of a tv from age 4 to avoid having to actually take care of them (god forbid) , then maybe kids' violence levels wouldnt be so high. maybe if western countries chose to put money in education rather than in the military , then kids' violence , blah blah….

but then again i dont know , maybe social , economic factors come into the equation somewhere. and maybe if guns were better controlled (in the US , as clearly J.Thompson is american ) kids wouldnt have easy access to them , and kids'violence blah blah.

maybe if modern society gave individuals value regardless of financial and social status,kids' blahblah….

of course , im 29 , grew up with v.games in what most (except brazilians ) would call a very violent neighborhood , and guess what ? im not violent. except on ps3.

well ok , while i play it ,itys great, but once im finished , i forget .all i remember is a guy creating a new world order underwater city , that woman and the lil'girls….its the drugs mate , never start.

wipeout is hard , mirrors edge took me three weeks of going mad , dual shocks flying because you miss that speedrun for .74 secs , slamming fist into wall because you fail that last vital disarm in a (again)speedrun or because you cant get those last stars to make 50 , a stressful game , but i cant wait for the second….  cod seems in the middle , ive just started that really, fallout , if u like the game , you can plat it easy.

theres always the old tricks : set it Xyears before episode 1 , in the future , whatever… 

shade: i meant bioshock was cool , but whether or not a new one comes out wont change my life , theres plenty of good FPS's out there , and the lil'girl thing is just wrong , lol. im sure i'll grab the new one but i wont be shaking in anticipation until then….its a great game, but a FPS is only as good as the last FPS out.

id rather FPS , TPS sometimes get in the way

i think RE tries harder every year to be a FPS-type game (laser scopes..ditching the top view…), and in that aspect , the demo of RE5 is a failure.thats whats being judged here , a demo , and it didnt make me wanna get the game. but as i pointed out , RE fans will love this. not being a fan , i dont. (the coop was fun for an hour , i admit.)

ps.i'm older than you,played RE when it was a different game and loved it.

pps.horror-adventure was a cool genre with alone in the dark , silent hill , RE…

ppps.thats kinda what a demo is for , judging a game (in any case its a very bad idea to release a demo thats not as good as your game will be)
