im sure it plays gba aswell, if you check some of the menu options, there are some options for GBA and i remember playing emerald once on my pc, and i assume it was on No$GBA, also if pokemon HG/SS freezes (black screen, music in background) on you after 15 mins/20 actions, search the web for Pokemon HG/SS anti freeze code, then read instructions and apply it to your settings (dont be alarmed it happened to everyone to start with, dunno if its been patched yet though). it wont happen to other games unless they have AP's on them

not all nds roms go slow, pokemon platinum played quite nicely with me, but the lag thats often reported could be because of people using crap computers, the best wau to find out is to try it yourself, you wont get viruses from romulation, as for No$GBA, get it from here

i searched google but got torrent sites etc, which i personally dont use! but i use rom freaks for some roms aswell, so i reckon its safe!

EDIT: quick mcaffee click tells me rom freaks is safe to use, but dont click the ads or neighbouring sites, the website dsromsplanet is very `dodgy`

Yay piracy on pokemon games, now this is my thread!, by new im assuming you mean pokemon heartgold and or pokemon souliver? great games so far, but their a nightmare to raise pokemon at early levels!. anyway i personally wouldnt use a pc emulator for these two games, they will crash after a certain amount of actions due to an anti piracy, and also they'll be laggy as hell!

but if you want a decent emulator search `No$GBA 2.6a` thats the best for me, however some prefer Desmume. Dont use emulators if you have low ram! they play horribly slow, as i found out ( but i tried running around 4 different programmes at once)

         I reckomend buying a proper flashcard for a ds (if you have a ds that is), i have a r4 card for a release date ds phat, and i'm playing all my `back-ups` easily and hassle free, but whilst in china i bought an acekard 2i, which is currently the best card to get because the software (AKAIO) is regulary updated! also pokemon games are meant to be played on a ds, they just dont feel the same on pc, but if you dont have a ds….

           I highly recommend you dont play the patched (U) version of HG/SS on a pc emulator as it will go slowly with most people, but try and see if it works! Pokemon platinum does work but some people had save issues, but im sure thats been patched with No$GBA firmware.

        BIG NOTE:Pokemon SS and HG had some serious bad ass anti piracy crap on it, but it was repaired fully for flash cards, check here for info on fixing the the roms and removing the AP;

i always use that sight, no viruses, but you do hae a limit of two roms a day i believe

sorry but i have to ask, does it really matter having more than one thread of a particular topic? especially if it is often discussed? perhaps to stop this sort of stuff happening, the admin could sticky particular threads such as goty/fave songs/games/drinks etc, but does it really ruin a website having the same topic more than once? it just seems to be a bit harsh on the new members, as seeing the search function doesnt always narrow it down as good as id hope it too
