actually your wrong the winner of brazil vs netherlands plays uruguay or ghana…… germany are on the other side of the draw if they get through the play either spain/portugal or paraguay/japan so LOL

Crap, I forgot there's going to be a Spain x Portugal tomorrow! It's gonna be a classic… anyway I completely screwed up everything, sorry everyone and thanks for correcting me, scot. LOL

Ah, it got the YLOD in february, and there's no sony support in brazil so I went to a regular game store, they said they could fix it but it wouldn't even last 2 months without another YLOD happening. So now I'm saving money to get a Slim myself and some games (GoW 3, Heavy Rain, etc). I might get it next month (NO SCHOOL NEXT MONTH, ONLY IN AUGUST, YAY) so I'm pretty close to start playing again

Oh, and you should really get Machinarium when you get the chance. It's really fun and challenging.

Dodgy themes aside, this looks bloody hilarious and I'll be picking it up as soon as I can. I like to play something different and this certainly has “different” in spades.

I agree. I'm only playing games on PC since I don't have a PS3 anymore (I don't have money to buy another one either).

So… NES/SNES/N64 emulators (I am NOT an old gamer, my very first game was Sonic Heroes… five years ago), Half-Life, Portal and Machinarium (AWESOME point-and-click game, BTW) are the games I'm playing right now. This game looks great.

It's a damn sight harder to judge depth when you're on a level with the ball and you can't see the line. The ball made a single high-speed bounce. It didn't give the officials much chance. The England players and Cappello would have run around cheering regardless of whether it went in or not. If it's even close then they're going to claim it and try to sway the ref.

There is two assistant referees at each end of the field in a footbal game, man. As far as I know, they should stay there to see things such as offside position, penalties, and such when the referee himself can't see stuff like that from his point of view.

I'm not saying I wanted England to win. I'm just saying that was ridiculous.

BTW, this wasn't the only fail. There were several others in this world cup alone.

BTW… I still can't believe that major referee FAIL at the Germany x England game. That freaking ball entered the goal and they didn't consider it. England was supposed to score. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIhcvTpM3wk) Lampard couldn't believe it.

I mean, IT'S THE WORLD CUP. Things like that should get the referee FIRED.

I really thought this was going to be cancelled. But it looks like they're really going through with this… DAMN.

That was definitely the best game I have watched so far in the World Cup.

I want to rant at Ninty too. I was a Ninty fanboy for years. They were my first console, bar my fathers Megadrive. I loved them to bits and they bought me years of enjoyment over many consoles and series. But the wii came along and, although technologically brilliant, got worn out in my house. Now, what they need to win me back is to stop trying to be first at everything. For example, the 3DS. They haven't even made a bloody HD console, and they're going 3D? What?! And while you're at it, remake Wind Waker in HD. It has to be done. And also, what they need, is a real controller, none of this motion control. The console needs an online system comparable to PSN as it is now, and real online games too. Like, COD and such.

Galaxy 2 was pointless? How so?

I know Nintendo's “casual gaming” is ridiculous, but if you ask me, some titles are really amazing.

I'll probably buy the new X360 (some call it Xbox360 Ultimate, I dont know if that's official) because of some exclusive games that I REALLY wanto to buy… and because of Kinect (PS Move is not enough ).

By the way, ever since the Playstation, Nintendo has been the underdog for years. Wii was really something back then but now it's not because of Kinect and Move. But I really believe 3DS will be amazing.

IMO, Nintendo had the best press conference on E3.

Nintendo 3DS has stereoscopic 3D. I know that's not new, but it is amazing. No need for glasses (PS3D needs glasses PLUS a 3D TV).

Looks insanely good so far.

PS Move, on the other hand, looks promising (although it looks like a Wii controller). Sorcery looks very good.

Although IMO Prototype was more fun to play, Infamous is the game that seems to have “won” the right to a second go… I didn't really like the graphics from Infamous for some reason, but with a decent amount of money thrown at it (another benefit from being “better”) this should turn out pretty impressive…

I don't think it would be a sequel as that wouldn't really make sense i don't think. Not with Cole as the main Char. I mean – Kessler came from his present time to his past, Coles' present, to try and prevent something that happens in Coles' future… And they are the same person…What happens to Cole – Kessler training him, is the beginning of what would have been if the time-line had not been interrupted – The marriage and the meeting of “the beast”. Perhaps not as fast, but it would have happened.

With the clever use of story the game effectively becomes it's own “prequel”. I think you'll play as “the beast” and the same karma-esc plot-line will be there, introduce elemental style attacks… And (written in white txt)

** You'll end up fighting Cole (as a good or bad char. based on your karma) as a boss possibly a final boss? – Depending on how you play, “good or bad” with the new beast char., would give openings to both endings from the first game. It would have a slight grey area but the stories would blend into each other almost seamlessly, and Cole could “power up” as a possible side-plot to the main story of the next game – Cole as final boss!? **

My thoughts exactly…

That dude in the trailer cannot be Cole. I don't know if there is an ofiicial announcement about the character in the trailer being Cole, but if there is, please show me…

I'm going for a Brazil x Argentine final. Argentine x South Korea was awesome. Argentine 4 x 1 SK.

If not, definitely Argentina x Germany.

PS Move looks good, but I am obsessed with Nintendo 3DS.

First game in the World Cup: South Africa 1 x 1 Mexico.

RSA missed two incredible chances at scoring. Damn.

Next up: Uruguay x France. Uruguay 1 x 2 France is my guess.
