The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is shaping up to be GOTY be the looks of this. Not sure if any game has reached the graphical standpoint this has achieved, quite impressed. Hopefully we can see at least a multiplayer horde mode? Wouldn't mind losing myself into competitive MP.

Sweet!
If it doesn't come with trophies, I don't care. It's more Far Cry!!!

MemberSo, with the one year anniversary coming up with the release of the Vita in NA and EU, how would you guys reflect on the product? Do you think it was overhyped and a failing system?
Although I currently do not possess a Vita, I look back at all the hype surronding the AAA titles arriving to the scene, which most, if not all, falling flat on release. Now that I'm looking at what's in development for the handheld, there's nothing much there. It's disappointing to see but honestly, why the fcuk isn't there any real system seller out there besides the Playstation Plus? Sony should've released that overpricing such a handheld would doom their income, but oh well

MemberSo I'm going to call this a massive disappointment or just not that great, now. I don't know what it is, maybe it's with trilogy endings or certain character arcs falling flat in the end. I doubt I make any sense, but whatever. EA, Visceral, or whoever has developed the script for this game and Isaac's ending better bring some motherfcuking logical sense, or I'm just done entirely, and don't sequel bake this shit either.
Other than that, I hope the co-op is decent, or near RE6 good. And the hell is up with the difficulties in this game? Classic mode?

MemberGoing to attempt to watched the 2 classics before I pop this one in. Hopefully I'm not disappointed with either the films or game.

MemberBeen hammered with material from school for a few days but finally managed to get a little breathing space for a bit of gaming today
Far Cry 3 100% has me eager to hop back into the action since I've had nothing but fun since starting the title. This is probably one of a few games where I'm willing to go out of my way to complete extra tasks, it's been that much fun. Currently have 61% since I've been doing a bit of everything. Working on outposts and radio towers now, nearly done with radio towers so I'll juggle the last of the outposts then Lost Letters
Eagerly anticipating the Max Payne 3 Multiplayer Event tomorrow for hopefully a triple XP event, since Rockstar has hosted the same event in the past. If not, I'll gladly just play up to level 30 before setting it aside for the next weekend. Going to grind up 5 levels every weekend to spread the time out as well as not feeling overwhelmed.

Despite Capcom's shady past, the amount of content as well as enjoyment I've received from this game is unbelievable. This is a steal at the price it is right now. Man, talk about how people always feel they never get the right amount of content for what they paid…

Nah, I'm smokin' up whatever Dr. Earnhardt has
Seriously though, I found Skyrim to be dull in every sense of the word
The game is horrendous to the eyes, the story is uninspired and uninteresting, and side quests are essentially the same thing repeatedly. I actually think Skyrim is Far Cry 3 with swords and glitches. Not trying to “monkey see, monkey do” with Seibei, but he does have a valid point as well with Just Cause 2. I loaded it up and played 10 hours or so and within those 10 hours, I was bored as sh!t. The game just rehashes the same material again and again – Blow this sh!t up, blow that sh!t up, with nothing else to do. The story isn't engaging whatsoever as well as uninteresting. Yeah it's fun, cliche, etc. but it's just boring to me.
Say whatever you will about how Far Cry 3 doesn't have enough gameplay hours or so, but you can't deny how gorgeous the graphics are, the smoothness of the gameplay, and the heart-felt as well as intense story with interesting characters are. Far Cry 3 has dominated the FPS genre with it's rich story telling, eye engrossing graphics, and smooth as silk gameplay

If any of you have this game and haven't played it, you should be ashamed of yourself. *Cough* Em *Cough* gr8 *Cough*

Yeah, I never had played a brand new copy of Medal of Honor (either borrow or bought used) and was still able to play online. gr8 is right as well, the code is just for some extra unlocks such as a new scope and a gun. The actual online passes didn't start coming until Battlefield 3, right?
Also, how will we be doing this boosting? Will be do an hour a night for a specific person to get their trophies or just do it all in one go or something else? And for leveling up, gr8 notified me that we would probably just play regular, so will we all be playing together in a squad when we level? 'Cause that would be kick ass to have the APT team tearing up the game!!

MemberSo after storming through half of the campaigns in this game, I must say, the reviewers can kiss my ass. I don't understand the problem, honestly, please PM me or something to get me to understand why people are bitching about this game. I've had nothing but fun since playing this game and people claiming that it's not survival horror should be motherfcuking ashamed of their selves. Series change and evolve overtime, which is clearly what Resident Evil 6 has done.
This game is pretty much a summer blockbuster or something along that lines. The set pieces are heart-pounding and the action is always either tense or absolutely mind-blowing. The plot is actually nice and sweet with each campaign bringing something new to the table in terms of what is actually happening and in gameplay. Here, you have a military bio-terrorism unit's perspective on how they're dealing with the outbreak, a former body guard of the president having to relive the nightmares he has had to put away for several years, and other campaigns I've yet to touch.
I don't even know anymore. Hell, I don't even know what I'm writing, all I know is is that this game is kick ass adventure with a bit of nostalgia from past RE games and sweet characters. This game was a surprise as well, I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do, another hit of 2012 I wish people got to experience but didn't due to, “It's not RE anymore

Yeah, I kinda noticed that when I was playing poker. If you go all in, you'll always have a good chance of winning easily. Also, how can you say you'd want to play Just Cause 2 over Far Cry 3?
Doc, you cray-cray
Anyways, this game is fcuking phenomenal. I haven't had a FPS or an open world game motivating me to do 100% of everything or caring about characters as much as this game. I still haven't finished the game yet, but goddamn. This game has it's shit checked and should be an example of how open world games should be. The sound track is just astonishing and fits the game so well, even making some of the set pieces and plot points more memorable and heart-pounding. The characters are the best I've seen in gaming and have actual emotion with realistic feelings. These aren't paper thin characters with no development at all. You will care for who lives and dies whether or not they're a villian or not. Speaking of development, the character development in this game is breath taking and should be an example of how to take on a story like this. Oh, and the dialogue… Just expertly written and some of the best I've heard!
Take me into your heart. Accept me as your saviour. Nail me to the ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** cross and let me be REBORN! – Vaas
This is definitely a game for the books and a pleasant surprise from a year of shit and disappointments left and right. I'm keeping this game for sure and will fit perfectly next to the Uncharted games as something I hold dear. Going to 100% the main game as well as trophies. Hopefully we could see some single player DLC in the future? I'd be more than happy coughing up $15 just to have some more shit to do on top of the incredible, perfectly & expertly written single player campaign. Please Ubi, do some justice here and support this game!!! This has to be the best FPS along with open world game I've played.

MemberWow, this'll be the third post mentioning Far Cry 3
Popped this bad boy in last night, immediately doing co-op first, which was effy. Had a bit of fun after a little bit but nothing change till I loaded up the outstanding single player portion. Been having a ton of fun on this. Been mostly roaming around the island and taking my time unlike other free roam games where I just storm through the SP. The story is actually surprisingly great and the voice acting is just perfect.
Got halfway through the dull campaign that is Medal of Honor. Towards the end of Belly of the Beast, the game picked up incredibly which is nice since I had kind of like the last few chapters of the campaign before. It feels like I haven't played this game though, either because it's been a long time or it's just incredibly forgettable and generic.
Waiting for Rockstar's MP event for Max Payne 3 next weekend, so Far Cry should keep me busy

Despite my issues with this game and my issues with past Rockstar games, this game is diappointing and boring. Max essentially walks throughout the game mowing down thousands of cocksuckers, talks in goddamn monotone throughout without being funny or clever throughout (besides 2 lines of dialogue that I chuckled at
), as well as annoying as fcuk characters!!
If you've seen Man on Fire with Denzel Washington, you've played this game. It's the note for note the EXACT equivalent of that film, besides the ending. The plot is predictable and all the characters are either annoying or brain dead dumb. On top of that, this whole game is so fcuking serious all the time, but defies that with it's dumbass gameplay logic.
Once you've played the first hour or so of the game, you will have played the entire game. Nothing changes at all. No inventive slow-mo set pieces and 2 interesting levels?! Which are before half way through the game?! You'll run into glitches where Max will take cover, and just stay in cover. I ran into one on my New York Minute Hardcore where enemies would turn INVISIBLE?! Ugh…
Oh, and speaking of XP in MP, there are certain specific assault rifles which mow guys down, left and right. It's such a grind though to play, although it is fun from time to time.
Thankfully I did get to experience Max Payne 2, which motivates me to get 3's plat, it was THAT good.
