ParticipantAlthough it's an official magazine, not ALL of it is official. Naughty dog are working on uncharted 2, but nothing else is confirmed.
Everything else = rumours of collective thoughts of 'Uncharted' fans.

Participantill ad you both later on if you haven't been added yet.

i got the info opsm (official playstation magazine UK) PSN ID – H3KingHawk
again, that was another rumour.
just because it's a magazine doesn't make it true, or official, despite the name.
remember, these magazines are done by editors opinions.

uncharted 2 is set in peru
the cover is fake for atlantis

why? because some guy says so?
that cover art picture was originally done as a joke way before the uncharted 2 hype started! there is no reason why naughty dog can't or won't do an atlantis story. none at all. since atlantis is one of the greatest stories on earth, it's quite possiible they could do it.

Participantgive him a break man, he's the only guy looking after the site… I know what it's like and it's not easy when you have to do everything yourself.
shadeblack
Participantyeah i also think it will be atlantis.
but you never know, it could be something entirely modern.

Participantstrange actualy; I'm on chapter 7 of impossible mode and starting to feel the same way. the only thing driving me through impossible mode is the fact that i want the platinum… but it's getting a little annoying because at the moment id rather be playing another game. at the moment I'd like to play LBP, which i got a few days ago, but haven't played yet because I like to finish one game before starting another.
I just need to get it done and over with really.
shadeblack
Participantyup. impossible mode is unlocked when you complete either easy, normal or hard, so you don't have to play hard to unlock impossible.
Oh, and bebop (cowboy) brings up a good point – since you only need to get the nodes that give you the power ups, you need to think about what route you can take to get the power ups without spending too many nodes on empty nodes.
On the subject of starting a new game for impossible mode, you get nothing; that's right, NOTHING when you start a new game on a new mode. however, if you do a new 'round' when you complete the game everything carries over, but you will be on the same difficulty level.
just to make that clear, when you do impossible mode, you will start with nothing.
PS: – I currently have 3 platinums and hope to have my fourth by the end of this week.

ParticipantYeah I don't think a game has ever made me jump before but this one has made me a jump maybe three or four times now.
I certainly agree with you on the whole sluggish thing as well. the controls need a little bit more work, and yeah im playing impossible mode and know what it's like to have 0 ammo and 0 stasis, with depleting oxygen and no oxygen packs left! lol. my solution? run past everything and hope for the best haha.
another thing about his movements actually would be why the hell doesn't he run properly!? think about it, he's in this massive alien infested ship and he has a F**K load of aliens running/crawling/jumping after him and he can't even gather the strength to run fast very fast. :S
If it were me, I would run as fast as i could! But Isaac seems to just… 'jog' away.
Graphically speaking, this game as you've just said is beautiful – despite the bluring when it loads up scenes and stuff, you don't notice it very much and since everything it so seamless, it really is like watching a movie sequence.

Oh ok .. I guess it's quite good, but it's still UGLY!
really? I don't think it looks too bad… Although, the final miltary suit looks Frekain' AWESOME! kinda like a storm trooper lol.

this game was seriously cute and funny for about 4 hours then it just got boring as hell and in the end the horrible lag and the shitty community drove me away.
uh… R2 or haze are you talking about?

Participantsorry to cause such an argument here, but I completely disagree with you darkadonis.
Jamesb has it right, the game uses the doors to load. In games like these, which I call, “Trigger Games” meaning something can only happen when something else happens and acts as a trigger for the next 'event'; often make use of things in the game to make it seem more seamless when loading the next part of the game.
As far as the game is concerned, the room you're in is the the ONLY room in the game until you open a door or use a switch to trigger the next event.
In my original post, I must admit I was a little hastey; I didn't like a lot of the things about the game and certainly didn't like the fact that there isn't much of a HUD at all. Especially considering I had just finished playing Bioshock, which has a fantastic HUD.
I was also a bit hastey about the controls. Although I still believe they are all over the place and very messily organised, the controls do work 'well' but only after some time into the game when you've gotten a bit more used to it.
Your comments on it not being scary at all… Well, seems to me like your opressing your fear and telling others that it isn't, to the extent of which you're doing suggests your not quite telling the truth. Despite what you might tell yourself, Humans are naturally scared of, and fear the dark, the unknown, and supernatural (including alien life) instances. It's impossible to deny, so don't try.
I'll gladly say that it IS a scary game where certain parts of it WILL make you jump unless you know (and I mean, KNOW) that it's inevidibly going to happen, which in most cases, even if you've played it a couple times, you forget about it and once again don't expect it to happen, even if you conciously expect something to happen.
The game clearly has a great atmosphere, and unless you've experienced something similar, and in this case I highly doubt you've been in outer space on an alien infested space ship on your own in the dark; It WILL, at some point, even if it's only once, scare you.
In the lighter side of things, I do agree in that since there isn't a HUD, it certainly does feel more like some sort of action movie, which I think makes this game quite unique.
PS: – Nice T.V, I'm hoping it's 1080p, because a lower resolution won't be as nice on a bigger T.V. I, myself have a Samsung S.5 40″ LCD 1080p TV. I also have a 5.1 tallboy surround sound setup. Although I'd like a bigger TV I didn't have the money for, nor the need for a bigger one.
