Participanthey! I'm doing the imposiible mode and then i got the platinum, so I think I can help you out here with these questions! 😛
First off, you might find that it gets easier as you get closer to the end because once you got everything upgraded nothing can stop you really.
Anyway, by the end of my first playthrough on easy, I had 70 power nodes to SPARE, which I didn't use at all. so put your mind at ease with the upgrading situation because as you get nearer to the end you get loads of em!
Furthermore (with the all maxed out trophy), you do NOT need to buy every RIG, because the upgrades on your RIG applies to ALL of the RIGs. so if you went straight to the level 5 suit, you don't need the lower suits to upgrade, a vice versa, if you upgraded a level 3 suit, the level 4, and 5 suits will have those same upgrades. I hope that answers your question.

I will soon be playing it, just gotta finish dead space on the hardest difficulty and i got my platinum on that then.
I'm sure resistance 2 will be fantastic, so I'll give you a game sometime?

Participantactually the scorpion suit is excellent. It CAN be upgraded, it has full inventory slots and 25% armour, which makes it the second best RIG.
and yeah i got it for free when pre-ordering.

I found out just now also, that not every suit needs to be upgraded. they all share the same upgrade parts, so whether you have a level 2, or level 5 suit, the upgrades are the same.
… They don't ALL start at level 5 though :S
there is a suit for each level when you get the schematics.
I just finished the game and you are also correct about the newer military suit, I can't wait to put that on 😀

Participanthi guys, are all the suits upgradable? I have the scorpion suit, but it won't let me upgrade the lower suits because It won't let me buy them 🙁
does that mean I can't get the 'upgrade all weapons and equipment” trophy?
ParticipantI think rockband tries to be a bit more cultured rather than having just classic rock music. some like this, some don't.
I'm not sure where I stand with it yet lol.
Participantit's a top down shooter. you're a small aircraft that must excel in defeating enemy aircrafts and buildings, depite the rediculous odds against you.
easy is fairly hard. lol.
controls are really eratic, and there is no introductions to the game which makes it difficult to get into.
Participantalso, I agree with firefox and consider nearly all other browsers obselete.
google chrome is coming along nicely though.
Participantyes applications would be a huge leap forward for the ps3 in my opinion… and from there, you just know that people will third party applications for it, which could possibly have endless limitations.
