don't you guys think this is a bit sad… fighting which system is beter on a ps3 only site…

i would assume so, but i don't know… I did hard first in case i couldn't do survivor.  But… even if it didn't, and you've completed survivor mode, the only thing you should then need to do is hard mode. surely that's a win win situation?

I'm now a quarter into survivor, and I'm finding it not much different. However, it DOES take a little more to kill them and they DO do more damage.  I think the only reason why im gliding through it though is because I know what to expect, rather than being 'scared' to turn at every corner.

The hardest part of the game is the beginning in my opinion.  This is when you don't have any decent plasmids and no amazing tonics.  Not to mention how much the research – It helps out so much you would not believe it at first.  it can mean the difference between 10 or 15 shots, which are dearly needed.

The last boss is a breeze, even on survivor.  Before I started a new game on survivor (which is was you need to do to get the trophy), i reloaded after watching the end and took him on with the difficulty setting on survivor.  the only difference is that he takes a couple more hits and there are splicers roaming around also.  Whereas on Hard, he takes one or two fewer hits and there are no extra splicers.

Since starting a new game, I had to decide whether to harvest or save the little sisters.  I found out that if you harvest them you get a total of about 180 more adam at the end of it all.  However, if you save them all, you get that 180 less ADAM, but more importantly you get some excellent tonics, and the life saving Big Daddy Plasmid.  I've decided once again to save them all.

This game is fairly similar to uncharted.  not in story, plot, or by means; But it the way it feels and controls.  it has a really fantastic appeal to it which cause gaming en masse – meaning when you pick it up, you can't stop playing it!  At least, I can't (the other day i played the game for 12 hours straight with no food).

while that's great and all, friends are entirely different to 'friends' you've met online and know nothing about them.

Final fantasy stands a chance but im not too sure ol kojima wants to even do anymore. I think he said in an interview that if the other producers didn't get it right, he'd want no part in it and it wouldn't go ahead.

I don't think there is much more they can do with mgs anyway.
