Participantouch that's gotta hurt.
I used to think the same thing: “I want to get a job to earn some money”. believe me… unless you get something you REALLY love doing, it's no way near the freedom of school and youth. Yup, I said Freedom, of school.
I miss it dearly, and I'm only 19!

Its the same for me 'cause i really haven't played the story mode since i beat it (may) so im ok getting it earlier than the patch but you have a good reason why not to get it before the patch
just out of curiosity, are you happy that you may or may not have to play it all again?
I think I'd be kind of annoyed, but if it's as great as the reviews, then I think it's probably worth it.

Participanty'know this can be interpreted as a scam to get credit card info.
~jus sayin'

Participantthere is a certain mysterious quality as to why it didn't do too well. no one person knows exactly why it 'sucked', but I think it's heavily dependant on what we expect to be of it.
It's odd and that's all i can say :S

Participantdo you have a job, or are you too young?
Not bragging (because I have a crappy job at the moment), but I've pre-ordered both.

Participantnot really. If I had bought it when it came out, then I would have played it when it came out. Considering the size and scale of the game, I would only want to play it once. So if the trophies are were retroactive (and I doubt they will be), then I'd have to play it again, which I thoroughly hate.
So getting it when the trophies are patched is a much better solution in my case as I would not be 'wasting my time' (and i use that term lightly) and I will only have to play through it once.

ParticipantI honestly have to agree, 100% with parnakas. Little Big Planet will last you much longer than any of the others games coming out. Especially considering it's level designing and sure-to-be-amazing online content.
Although im NOT saying the other games are a bad choice, because I'm sure they are going to be outstanding as well, but if you got a game that will only last a week, then you're stuck feeling bored after completion. However, with LBP, you can create new levels for you to amuse yourself for quite a long while.
If I were you, I'd go with Little Big Planet.

Participantsurprisingly enough, when it came out, i was really tempted. But, i said to myself, “I'll wait for it to either come down in price or for it have something a little more to entice me into it”.
I was dead on, because now it will soon have trophies. Back then, trophies weren't even rumoured yet, so my guess was that of pot luck. Boy am I happy about it though.Â
I'm not sure if it's gone down in price, but if it has, that'll be just another sweet bonus on my cake of awe.

Participantthe graphics?
Personally, I didn't give it a second look. i thought it just sucked flat out. it didn't have great reviews either. shame really.

yeah but you're only doing it because of the guide.
YOU are doing it only if you figure it out by yourself. that's the way i see it.
~Opinions are great aren't they. everyone can say something different and no one is any wiser 😀

Participantwell whenever the date is… that's when I'll finally be getting it. lol.
