thanks guys. message me if yall need any help. i know w4r sure did on this lol.
btw knightmare.. yeah about 2 hours. about 1&1/2 for gow2 but it's a lot easier really lol
Also very important!!
i messed up on the guide. you have to get all the orbs in 1 run through. there is no bonus play on gow1. so save b4 the final battle with ares in a new save slot so you have 2 copies of the same save. after you beat the game load up the 2nd save so that you're back at the final battle with ares and do the ares glitch mentioned in the guide. thanks w4r for finding this error for me
also admin i would like to replace this guide if your available to switch them anytime
Hey, Cory.
I tried to do what you say here, but it won't work for me. I made an extra save before the Ares fight, but when I go back to that save after completing the game, I have the same amount of orbs that I had before as well as the same upgrades. Any suggestions?

MemberCurrently playing the first GOD OF WAR as part of the GOD OF WAR COLLECTION. I forgot how frusterating the puzzles in this game are! The second game is SO much easier!
When I finish that, I'll start on the second one immediately. Once that is complete, I have TEKKEN 6 and BIOSHOCK to play (I received both for Christmas). I'm crossing my fingers that I can finish those quickly, because Spring 2010 is insane! HEAVY RAIN, GOD OF WAR III, (maybe) DANTE'S INFERNO… insane!

MemberI'm hoping for this to be an amazing game, because my expectations for it are through the roof! I just REALLY wish that North America would've received the sweet-ass packaging that the UK version of the game is receiving. Oh, well… at least your receive the first episode of The Heavy Rain Chronicles for free when you pre-order it here.
Isn't there supposed to be a demo coming out for this rather soon? I heard last week of December/first week of January? Any news on that?

really good year heavy rain and mafia2 in feb then gow3 and dantes inferno march and to top it off red dead redemption
Don't forget Dark Void and Bioshock 2!! Both look fantastic!
And don't forget, we get to finish off 2010 with THE LAST GUARDIAN!

MemberI would've bought this if HEAVY RAIN wasn't coming out in the same month. By the time I finish HEAVY RAIN, it'll be GOD OF WAR III time… and there's no way I'll be able to play DANTE once I've played GoW3.

hopefully this reboot will bring the moh series back to the spotlight and good thing dice is doing the multiplayer
I highly agree. MoH really deserves to be back in the spotlight because, at one time, it was the best FPS out there. The first two games on the PSX were great and so was Frontline on the PS2. From Rising Sun on, the series went downhill. Hell, there probably wouldn't even be a Call of Duty if it wasn't for MoH. It's only fitting to see MoH copy CoD now with its modern setting.

MOH was started by Infinity Ward but i dunno why they left it, maybe cause of EA. Anyways, I predict to see MANY comparison videos of this and MW2.
Are you sure about that? Wikipedia says the first game was developed by Dreamworks Interactive, which is now EA Los Angeles
Yeah, Infinity Ward's first game was the original Call of Duty. It was indeed Dreamworks Interactive that developed the first two Medal of Honor games (and the two best, IMO). I remember Steven Spielberg making it a huge deal at the time because he was putting together a WW2 video game at the same time he was putting together a WW2 film (Saving Private Ryan).

MemberHmm… good question.
The first game I recall ever playing was the Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt two-pack on the original NES. It was 1990 and my grandparents returned from their annual Arizona trip and brought along a Nintendo system for my siblings and I. From that moment on, I played quite a few games but I never really seriously got into gaming.
I'd say that the moment I became a serious gamer was in 1998 when I saved up enough cash to buy my very own system; the Sony Playstation. Up to that moment, my parents had bought my siblings and I our systems, so buying a system with my own money was a pretty big deal at the time. And the reason I bought a PSX over anything else? Well, I was flipping through an issue of GamePro (or maybe it was EGM) and I came across the previews section. There were the world-exclusive first screenshots of Metal Gear Solid. That was the moment that made me into the gamer that I am today.

and idk why i dont want to try it but if my mates so me on it i'd get digged lol
Your not gonna do something because your scared of what your mates will say? Why does it matter? i know your main reason is that the game is just not appealing to you, but i just don't get this reason..
Anyways, Tridon – The Last Guardian looks awesome! Got to pre-order that.. thanks for reminding me of that game man!
Everyone should be aware of The Last Guardian. It's probably going to be the most underrated game of 2010, however, it'll probably also be my 2010 Game of the Year. Anyone who has ever truly played ICO and Shadow of the Colossus should know where I'm coming from.

Tridon – awesome list!! I totally agree with your number 1 game.. BEST GAME EVER!!
Thanks, man. And yeah, MGS4 is easily the best game ever. I always loved the first foremost until the fourth came out last year. The second was pretty good but I didn't care too much for playing as Snake for only an hour and the third game was awesome, but for some reason, I found that I couldn't replay it as much as the other three games.

MemberThanks a lot for the guide! I've been thinking of renting this game next so if I do, this'll be a big help! Is this game as easy as it sounds/looks?

Member5) Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GCN) – The classic PS1 title with sweet, over-the-top John Woo-style videos. Awesome.
4) God of War Collection (PS3) – I don't own this until Christmas, but being that I was with my girlfriend when she bought it for me, it is indeed in my house. I adore the first two games so I chose this collection knowing that it includes both games in HD with trophies.
3) Animal Crossing (GCN) – The only game in the world where I can leave it for a year or so and then come right back to it as if no time as passed. Whenever I need a break from guns, blood and explosions, I return to visit all my little furry friends in “Sunville”. It's also nice to play through a game without any frusteration at all.
2) Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) – Speaking of frusteration… lol! Yes, even though it frusterated me at times, everything about this game is 100% amazing. The scale of the colossi when you ride your horse up to them is insane! Beautiful graphics, music and gameplay make this an easy top-5 favourite. I REALLY hope Sony remakes this game along with ICO as a HD Collection on the PS3 in the future.
1) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3) – Hands down, best game of all time. Top notch graphics, voice-acting, music, gameplay, PLUS the conclusion to the saga that is Solid Snake. There was no going wrong with this. Each level was utterly awesome, and the fact that Shadow Moses was one complete level… wow! Right from the beginning of the game when you're fighting cow-sounding mechs to the simplistic yet epic final battle, I had a smile on my face. Now only if Kojima would attach some trophies to this classic…

MemberI'll agree that it's probably better than MW2. Modern Warfare 2 is a HUGE disappointment. It's so inferior to the first game. Plus, this is Battlefield. If 1943 is any indication, BC2 should be awesome.
tridon
MemberThis kinda sucks. I was gamesharing with my friend, my brother and my sister. Plus I was going to get another PS3 for my bedroom. It should still be 5. It's not like five is a lot. Not to mention that I paid for these games, so why can't I share them? It's the same as me lending my retail games out. Stupid.
