MemberOh, and for some reason, I couldn't turn off 'bold' in that last message. Weird.

MemberThanks, I773D33MABL3. Yeah, I'm thinking that this may not be the most risk-free thing to do. I guess I'll just buy the less-cooler, much uglier 'Heavy Rain' and wait for the rest of my life for 'EyePet'. Grr…

Parnakas – Were you trying to use UK DLC with a Canadian copy of the game, or was it a UK copy of the game? I could understand it not working on a Canadian copy. I only want UK DLC if I import games from the UK.
oh thats most likely my issue than!
and where was your Canada FTW or Ontario FTW??!!??!! your posts are not complete without them!
Doctor_Rock – that DLC sounds pretty interesting..
Sorry. I was at work at the time and was just making a quick-post… ONTARIO FTW!

Yeah, see, that's what I always thought. Matching the region of the disc should be all that matters as far as DLC goes.

MemberThanks for the heads up, christus11. I'll have to look into that issue further. I appreciate it!

MemberI don't see why UK DLC wouldn't work on my Canadian account. I download demos off my UK account and play them on my Canadian account all the time. I'm also able to play stuff that I bought on my Canadian account on my UK account.
Also… CANADA FTW!!!

MemberI was REALLY considering importing the special edition from the UK (after shipping and conversion, it's only $73 Canadian; looking at you, Parnakas) because damn, does it look sexy. The downfall for me is that in order to buy the DLC at a later date, I'd have to buy a UK PSN card, and that just seems like a big hassle. I've also been considering importing 'EyePet' because I'm getting really impatient waiting for it to come here. It was supposed to show up in North America in April (which makes no sense since the rest of received it last November), but now, according to certain Web sites, it won't be making it here until November of THIS year. A whole year later? Really?! So yeah, who knows; I just may import that as well as the special edition for 'Heavy Rain'. Just sucks that a $50 PSN card from the UK costs over $80 Canadian.

Tridon is the name of a fictional super-hero I created when I was five years old. I still write the character to this day and a graphic novel is in the works.
ummm doesnt the show Teen Titans have a villain named tridon?
Negative. That character's name is 'Trigon'. You scared me there, though.

MemberThanks, guys.
UPDATE:
I have achieved making a gas trap. I have no idea when or where I picked up the ingredient, but I was suddenly able to make one, so I did. Trophy acquired.
I decided to NOT give up on the fuse box room and I was FINALLY able to complete it. Obi's puzzle wasn't too bad. I had a YouTube video to help me out with that one. The thing is, the pipe puzzles always stay the same, but the fuse boxes are always random, so the pipes are a lot easier.
I completed the game and went through both doors for the two gold trophies. The 'Freedom' ending sucked bad. The 'Truth' one was much better. It had a little twist that resembled the endings of the actual films. Oh, and by the way, Pighead was insanely easy. All I did was punch him over and over again until he went down.
All and all, it wasn't a bad game. It was definitely frusterating at times, but overall, it was decent enough. It was an excellent film-to-game adaptation of the movies. All I have left is four more curb stops, and then the Platinum shall be mine!

MemberThanks, Mitch. Yeah, I already have the schematics, so now it's just a matter of actually finding the ingredients. I'm totally stuck right now, though, so it doesn't matter. I think I'm on the verge of quitting. I'm in this puzzle right now where I have five minutes to solve two giant fuse-box circuits and one small one before the room I'm in blows up. It's utterly ridiculous and it's just frusterating the hell out of me. It wouldn't've been so bad if the circuits stayed the same each time you replay (then I could've at least memorized the pattern until it was solved), but they reset each time and it's crazy-hard.
In other news, I totally said “tropgy” in the title of this post. Yeah, I'm a retard.

MemberThe Last Guardian is my most anticipated game of 2010.
Runners up are God of War III and Heavy Rain. Also, Metal Gear Solid Rising if it's released this year.

I finaly got my plat! My first plat, it took me 1 year and 6 days to get a plat
. My last trophy was Speed of Jason McDonald, I did it in about 4 hours but I had to do Seeing Red too.
You have to fight Ares untill his life bar is almost gone, then a O will appear over him, you have to press O and keep pressing O and then the next button (triangle I think) then you will climb on him and another button will apper, You DON'T press it. He will throw you away and you will get some Red Orbs, then hit him again and O will appear again, press it and the next button,…
Hope I helped Tridon.
Thanks, Domba. So, basically, when I get to the end of the first part of the final battle with Ares, and the button combo pops on to screen, push the first button they say to push, but not the second. Is that correct? I'll have to give that a shot later. I doubt I'll do the Speed of Jason McDonald trophy, though. The puzzles in the first game frusterate the life out of me. I don't think I can play through those again with losing my marbles. LOL.
I love the second game, though. Just have to finish the challenges in that game (or at least attempt to), and I'll be 100% complete. BTW, congrats on your platinum!

For the moment, it was a waste of $10. Tetris is one the games CURRENTLY not being supported (for what reasons, I don't know). I remember reading over a list of compatible mini's on the official playstation website, in the forums, a while back. Check there. Quite a few ppl were pretty pissed if I remember right.
I don't know why they don't put it in the description, before ppl buy the games that won't work…
Thanks, man. That sucks pretty hard. I hope they fix this soon. I was all pumped about playing “Tetris” on my PS3 so I bought it immediately. Usuallly when a company says they're now supporting something, that means they're 100% supporting it. Obviously I would not have bought it for nothing. Oh, well… enjoy my hard-earned $10, Sony!
