Whats the God of War 3 Ultimate edition?

  5. Domba_car
    January 11th, 2010 at 19:56 | #5

If you read the trophies, its kinda like GOW. Gates of Hell is just like the Challenge of the Gods, Masterpiece is like Hitman 2… Not saying the game is bad or anything but these trophies look similar.

This game is gonna be awesome, too bad I’ll be getting GOW3 instead. The demo for this was awesome though, I’ll have to pick it up later when the price drops.

Whats up with killing 20 unbaptized babies?

  8. gow2rules
    January 11th, 2010 at 23:13 | #8

unbaptized babies end up in limbo thats what people believed during those times so maybe you have the option to help them all kill them?

was it only me who noticed the bare boobs on the demo? Def gettin this when price drops a bit. Not for the boobs but cos i enjoyed the demo. I’d just like to get that straight! Honest

  15. tridon
    January 12th, 2010 at 19:33 | #15

I played this demo, and while I enjoyed it, it does pale in comparrison to God of War. I’d be all for buying this in February and God of War III in March, but Heavy Rain also comes out in February, and that one wins. Sorry, Dante… maybe in April or May? I don’t think there’s anything after March that I really want until whenever The Last Guardian comes out.

Oh, and BTW, these trophies do look easy. Who knows, though? It may be hard to find stuff in this game.

If you have to choose between this and GoW3 go with GoW. Luckily i will be getting both. The demo was awesome.

this games demo is amazing. i’ll be bying it for sure. and i’m glad there is no difficulty trophies. :)

  20. HydrophobicFish
    January 19th, 2010 at 17:21 | #20

Couple of things… people are saying “Boy, these trophies look easy!” Well… people said that about Mirror’s Edge, too.

Also, people asking “This, or God of War?” The answer is either “both” or “God of war” You NEED to get GoW if you’re even remotely interested in the genre.

  21. LIKEUCARE
    January 21st, 2010 at 08:33 | #21

This game is a must-buy for anyone who digs God of War gameplay. The demo is fantastic and I really dig the setting in Hell. Even better, we, PS3 players, have that Divine Edition exclusivity. So, yeah, it ROCKS!

Like HydrophobicFish said, get both (GOW 3 + DI) if you can! I sure will…

  22. el nino 09

this game is better than gow 3 if you go by the demo

    HOTT

  24. Doc-B
    January 24th, 2010 at 02:45 | #24

The only reason, we, PS3 players, as LIKEUCARE put’s it, is only to try and sway people who can’t buy GOW3 and Dante’s… The only cool thing on the disc is the translated version of the poem? GOW will be epic but the setting of the circles of hell… I’ll be getting both! The £108 version of GOW looks slick…

  25. andrew
    January 25th, 2010 at 06:14 | #25

this game is the BIGGEST!!!! rip off of god of war ever. not just the button layout not just the health meter but they even used the exact same puzzles!! GOD OF WAR 3! is hands down the better game!

  26. Doc-B
    January 25th, 2010 at 22:59 | #26

I can’t see that being to bad a thing… The whole selling point will be the setting rather than brand new ideas, no? And it might sell Ps3 to people who ain’t on the system but wanna try the better GOW trilogy. I don’t think this is trying to best GOW in any way… And if they both play the same that’s not a bad thing for the gamer…

So stop crying for the sake of crying, are you suffering at any point?

  27. Doc-B
    January 25th, 2010 at 23:01 | #27

Doc-B :And it might sell Ps3 to people who ain’t on the system but wanna try the better GOW trilogy.

Agreed. I already Pre-ordered both Dante’s Inferno, and GOW III UE. they’re like a month or 2 apart, so why not get both?

  31. Andrew
    January 31st, 2010 at 16:20 | #31

They could of at least changed the buttons up n not used 4 gow puzzles in the first 10mins of the demo. O n the boobs!!! Lol. This game was made so x360 could have a gow n to cover tht up they gave ps3 a special version! Ooooooooo who cares GOW is better!

Anybody even comparing GOW & DANTE’S INFERNO are either not real gamers, or just trying to build hype for a game you haven’t even played. STOP playing generic second rate copy games. And trying to act like it’s sooo much better than a living legend.

    February 8th, 2010 at 15:00 | #41

Anybody whinging that its a carbon copy of GOW. build a bloody bridge & get over it, seriously!! Like ‘epic’ said, its a game of its own & should be regarded as such. Sure, the gameplay is extremely similar but if you get lost in the storyline (like me) & take it for what it is, then its a really enjoyable game & I’m definitley trading in my standard version for the Death Edition asap
