yes mine did that too about 2 months ago
so i did two things,
tried change my control settings because thats the only thing i did different,
try push the reset button on the back of the controller
if all else fails,dare i say you got to delete everything to do with fifa 10 on your ps3.
thats what i did and its back working perfectly again.

i had that problem with fifa 09..when i would play 2 players it would always freeze at the beg… of the game dont know why tho
im having a problem of my own i brought 50 players and didnt get my trophy am i meant to finish the season to get it? i would appreciate any help on this and would like help collecting other trophy.

Me too Bro. I dont know how to fix it. I’ve been reading some forums and people are saying that ps3 may be going through an error right now or something. People keep saying that their dates on teh systems are messed up and shit, prob some bug or because leap year?! I hope someone comes up with a solution of how to actually play FIFA. I cant get passed that bullshit trophy information. Let me know if you find anything out.

mines does this too. ive looked around and people say just give up theres nothing you can do. £40 for a game that crashes just because it can’t load trophies? f***ing joke!

I get the same thing too with FIFA10. About the “Registration of trophy information, game must quit” message. I quit the game (which is the only thing you can do) and went directly to the trophy collection and my FIFA10 trophies were gone. Not even the FIFA10 logo and the percentage of how many trophies you’ve unlocked were there.
I read around, and it’s like Chris said…there’s some bug going around all the “fat” PS3 consoles because the geniuses at Sony forgot to set the date for a leap year. If you turn your PS3 on, you’ll notice the date is one day behind what it should be. I have no idea how to fix the bug itself, but it’s awfully stupid how you can’t play a game because of it’s “trophies”. Thankfully, though, I have other games, so I’m just gonna play those until Sony fix this.
