I can’t wait for this. I have it on pre-order and I’m picking it up on Tuesday. I was skeptical at first on whether it’d be a good game or not but now that I’m seeing pretty good reviews pop up for it, I’m feeling a little better. Who ya gonna call? Oh yeah!!!! =)

But that’s from a month ago, so it could’ve changed? I kinda doubt it though. The IGN list makes a little more sense.

I’m not sure about this. Ghostbusters are awesome and all, but movie games tend to suck…
Movie games usually suck because they’re usually a tie-in to a movie coming out in theaters. When they’re not, they can be quite good. Just look at Chronicles of Riddick. Ghostbusters is good.

At first i was skeptical about this game but have heard great things. Gonna pick it up on the 14th when i get NCAA FOOTBALL 10 (hopefully trophies for the latter as well!)
this game is pretty soild, tried it while over at my cousins, saw the ending but once you get the feel of the game play its straight forward and pretty much, gonna rent after i finishing up the plat on x-men
Does anyone know if you have to get all the online trophies too for the platinum?
lol of course you do, the only game i’ve ever played where you didn’t need online trophies for the platinum was RE5. the online trophies in this are easy anyway
Game was fun. a bit annoying when you get knocked down and sometimes you died, sometimes you didn’t……. voices were great. got about 43% of trophies but that’s about it. I’m not about to go back through the game just to drink water from a water fountain……lame trophy.
Online is where its at. nothing but action and friendly competition.

I got the employee of the month no prob but cant seem to get the payday. i have played the multiplayer campaign in every spot and got 1st place every single time. not just at the end but the entire way through i was always in first and still havent gotten the trophy. does anyone know if im missing something? i did it on ranked. do you have to do it on unranked as well?

this game looks really repetitive and boring, apparently you need to do lots of scanning with pke thingy to find collectables or something… zzzzzzZZ lol.
i herd that Overachiever and Payday! are glitched and dont unlock plus no one has managed to get polar slimer ether hopfuly they will relese a patch soon to fix this so i can get my last 3 trophies if anyone has managed to get these plz let me no beccause if been trying for ages to get them and doing wot the trophie discription says but its not unlocking

to do a stasis dunk when all the other ghostbusters are wrangling a ghost into a trap use the stasis stream on it until it is trapped.

I’m getting this game from GameFly soon even though it was far down on my list and they shipped it from across the country when I live 1 hour from the nearest distribution center. Venting aside, I played the demo and it seems like a cool game.

I just got a PS3 2 months ago as well. I got an older model so I could play my older games as well.
As for Ghostbusters – it’s decent. I didn’t really enjoy it that much, but I want to get the platinum before I send it back to GameFly. I just have to get the online trophies. Luckily the online gameplay is pretty fun. There just aren’t a lot of people on though.
i love this game, i was hoping to get the platinum but it does seem that it would take a few hours worth of time pairing up with someone who can play it decently online to get a few of them, payday! and Gozer’s Most Wanted trophies being the hardest of any, payday requires the campain matches to be ranked and fully completed by victory in each 3 stages and you must come first overall with money earnings, the gozer’s trophy requires you to play every match type (containment, slime dunk etc) on every map they are available to and complete them fuly resulting in victory, it would take hours, if anyone would want to seriously give it a go and pair up im willing, send me a message on PSN – ID DaveT_uk thanks
i missed 1 water fountain do i have to play through all way again or can i gat it through level select and also can i do same for artifacts

Yeah, you can redo them after you beat the game. Same goes with scans. However for fountains, I think you have to get them and play to the next checkpoint for it to save it.

Yeah, it is a hell of a lot of work to get the Platinum in this game. The game itself takes only a few hours to beat and get a ton of trophies. Then you have to spend hours and hours just to get a few online Bronze trophies.
