If you have an old eye toy (PS2)it will work just as a new one would. So it mite be worth dusting it of or seeing if you can find a second hand one. Its all about the Platinum!!

got all my trophies for burnout now. Took me a while but was well worth it, Just doing my elite on the game again. I had the 101% on it but restarted for the trophies, Knew i had to get that platinum so i went and got it. cant wait for more games with trophies. Dont know weather its worth starting IV again for them, The game sucked compared to the others. Not enough to do. no attachment to the characters or anything else, but maybe this would give it a purpose

Ok highest personal rank means just to rank 10 I think, it doesn’t mean you have to be the best player in GTA. Anyways I’m at rank 8 in GTA, but to get to rank 9 I need like 1.5 million and for rank 10 I need like what was it like 2.5 million so I need like a total of 5 million to get to rank 10.

solid-assassin, the trophies more than likely are not going to be retro-active. so you cant load and get all the trophies. and the way you score 180 is, is, look for the twenty on the dart board. find the small section that is the triple. three darts on the triple, 180. simple.

Actually pool96 it doesn’t work like that. Having 3% of the trophies and having 3 trophies does not mean there are 100 trophies. Not sure how the percentages work but they are all out of whack. For example I am playing Bioshock and am only missing four trophies. The three gold and the one platinum. Yet it will say I have 63% of the trophies. So no the list is not incomplete and you will most likely have the same thing happen where you will only be missing a few trophies yet it will say your at something like 70%

Are none of the online trophies retroactive?? I was already promoted a rank in multiplayer and am currently a level 6 yet I didn’t get the trophy after the patch was applied. I thought the online trophies were retroactive. Didn’t get the Fly The Co-Op trophy or other online trophies as well.

Found out that all you have to do to get the Cut Your Teeth trophy is play one online game. As long as you previously have advanced a rank you will get the trophy even though you didn’t advance a rank that round. Also pool96 to kill a rockstar I’m pretty sure it was originally kill one of the developer’s playing online. However once you have the trophy anyone that kills you will also get the trophy and so on. So basically just try to kill someone who already has the trophy. For me I got the trophy off the first person I killed online.

the Meet all Random Characters Trophy.
some of the random characters only appear if you didnt kill them in the game when you had the choice to let them live or die.
now if you killed them, *i believe there are 3 or 4 of them total* do you have to start the game over AGAIN and not kill them to have the chance to meet them?
cause i killed all of them, beat the game in just over 17 hours. so that would be the only trophy i would have to restart the game for.

I need help
I’m trying to get “Fly the Co-Op” I do “Deal Braker”
“Hangman’s Noose” and “Bomb the Base II” in that order! It’s hard enough to find people to do all three with you but every time I try them around the boat in “Bomb the Base II” the screen goes black it says loading for a minute then plonks me back to my safehouse in single-player has it something to do the way it says “In time” in the description of the trophy or is it my game or console or network connection!!! I have done “Bomb da Base II” a lot of times already

Just to make something clear aboyt the random characters trophie you have to meet all 14 randokm characters so you have to let Ivan, Cherise and Clarence live if you want to get that trophy
secondly for the friends trophy all 5 possible friends(roman,packie,brucie,little jacob and dwayne) should like you above 90%

i have found out with alot of online research that took alot of digging to find.
Ivan, Cherise, and Clarence do not count towards your 100% of the game.
so if you killed them and you meet all the other random characters you can still get 100%.
with that i hope that also means that you can meet the “regular” random characters and still get the trophy.
if not, i’ll 100% this game, move the game profile, and start again and not kill anyone, atleast i wont have to rush through it the second time and just meet all the characters for the the trophy, then move my save back. i’m working on it right now so as soon as i meet all the regular random characters i’ll let you know.

pobert06 I got 5:56 which either way is very hard deal breaker is something like 7:40 and hangman’s NOOSE is like 2:23 but I’ll add you and we can do this its easy just don’t spend too much time stopping the truck just park in front of it and take out the driver and it’ll stop!! This is very hard! I could use a hand in the trophy “Top of the food chain” if you let me kill you 20 times with a pistol then i’ll let you kill me 20 times with a pistol!!

I have nothing but problems with these trophies.
“Taking it for the team” you were on the winning team in all multiplayer team games!
I have been on the winning team in Team Deathmatch, Team Mafia Work, Team Car Jack City, Turf War, and Cops ‘N’ Crooks but guess what? No trophy what am I doing wrong please help

soz pakhasta we could do Deal breaker but not if we invited each other. The other ones have to be done with people not on your friends list so hopefully we will meet randomly and besides Bomb Da Base II is not working I sent Take 2 an E-mail today and said to expect a reply within 24 hours so we’ll wait and see. hopefully we will meet in the game.

i think u can invite on the ps3 cos on the 360 it has ranked matches and unranked matches. ps3 dosnt have that so i think u can invite ur friends 2 help u out on deal breaker and bomb da base. i want to add some1 who knows how 2 play the game that will help me get fly the co op trophy cos whenever i try playin deal breaker or bomb da base im always paired up with some dum idiots who dont know how to play the game wihtout wasting alot of time.

Platinum trophy unlocks when you get all the rest I believe.

Actually there is a lot of multiplayer tracks, but I won 20 races and didn’t get it I won “556 Connection” with a Maverick and the first nineteen road races with either an Infernus or a Comet. I only have one road race left to do, “Taxiing” then I’m on to Boat races, but for the trophy “Auf Weidersehen Petrovic” you have to win on every track for a race and GTA race which altogether I think comes to 108 races. These Multiplayer trophies must be rigged, I won 20 multiplayer races with 20 differant tracks and didn’t get the trophy, having said that I haven’t seen anyone with that trophy, also I beleive I was on the winning team for every multiplayer game and didn’t get the trophy also I haven’t seen anyone with that trophy either!
I got the trophy “Teamplayer” after I killed a lot more than 5 opposing team members, these are really getting on my nerves

Hiya pepijntjuh. I have the Top of the food chain trophy. Not sure if it was said already, but it has to be done all in one match. Its kinda hard to do though. I either got really lucky or the people i was playing with at the time werent that good yet at the game. I ended up getting 23 pistol kills in one match. It unlocked though at the 20th kill.

The online multiplayer trophies are not rigged. I have the “Top of The Mignight Club” trophy.
In order to get it, you must win a total of 20 different races. In other words, 20 different tracks. But it must be within “RACE” not “GTA RACE” … GTA races will not count!
How I achieved this was by hosting the game, starting from the very first track available and moving in order through the list of tracks until I won 20 races. Only play each track once. The cars you use will not matter. Remember though, there are different classes… so you can drive/do helicopter/boating races etc.
If you have done all this, keep in mind that sometimes you will earn a trophy and it just does not show up at the top right of the screen. Double check your trophy collection in the PSN because it may have appeared there.

If you haven’t saved, yes.
The only trophies that are blocked by certain cheats are: Cleaned the Mean Streets, Finish Him, One Man Army, and Walk Free.
If you’ve cheated and it says one of those has been blocked, just load up your last save/restart your system and you’ll be fine
I suggest getting those trophies first and then you can cheat and save all you want. Also keep in mind that you can cheat as much as you want and it will not affect getting 100%.

Sorry, I stand corrected. I tested it out. Cheats will NOT permanently disable your trophies. the specific trophies I mentioned above are only disabled when a cheat is activated. You can save and have cheats show up on your stats etc.. but once you restart your system, die, save, etc (do something that ‘turns off’ the cheat) you will again be able to try and get the trophy.
This is why when you cheat multiple times, it tells you everytime which trophy has been disabled.
It can be undone.

you can check off races you’ve already won, matches you’ve won, all of that, it has come in handy for me.
granted all of my friends have traded in gta4 cause they are idiots and didnt keep the game, so i’m having to win all of these by skill.

Hiya all.
Sam4sonia, Pool is correct. to do melee counter you have to wait until enemy is just about to hit you,hit x quick then either hit triangle or circle right after and you will counter.
redbren, as far as the rolled over one i looked around for other places to do it for a while b4 i went to the runway.You can do it off alot of the unique stunt jumps, but have to get lucky and takes longer to reset yourself back up each time to take another run at it if you dont get it that time. The runway I found was easiest as you can just keep going back and forth until you get get it, saving setup time to get your lineup right. Just kep at it, it took me a while to finally get it also =\. Just make sure you hit those small yellow ramp things with just two of your wheels as fast as you can when you hit them.Another trick is to use one of the faster suv vehicles like the huntley sport as they are more tippy than cars.Another thing too when you land, if your sideways turn your wheels the way needed to help induce more rolling. I.e if your facing left when you land turn your wheels left.
Damn I ended writing a book lol, sorry bout that.

I’m sorry but there is something wrong with GTA IV.
I have won 19 multiplayer tracks, i’ve been doing them in order
but I can’t get credited for a win in “don’t look down”. I’ve one it a million and two times by now but I can’t get it.
WTF is up????
also I can’t get credited for a win in Cops N Crooks either, and it’s the only one I need to get for “Taking it for the team”

I got rolled over with a special glitch
if you manage 2 rolls in you’re first crash, 1 in your second and 2 in your third the trophy should also unlock. just get a total of exacltly 5 rolls and the trophy will unlock. This wont work when you got a total of 6 or 7 rolls it has to be 5.

I never stated that all cheats disable the trophies. But sorry, I’ll be more specific. I know u can use the cheat to add stars to your wanted level, to get up to four stars.. then lose those to get the trophy.
The cheats that will temporarily disable certain trophies are as follows:
Health And Weapons Call GTA-555-0100 <- Cleaned the Mean Streets
Weapons Call GUN-555-0150 <- Cleaned the Mean Streets
Advanced Weapons Call GUN-555-0100 <- Cleaned the Mean Streets
Health Call DOC-555-0100 <- Cleaned the Mean Streets, Finish Him, One Man Army, Walk Free
Wanted Level Down Call COP-555-0100 <- One Man Army, Walk Free

Yesterday when I was playing team car jack city, I won 3 times and it never recorded those wins in my stats. This morning when I turned on my system, it had recorded them. I’m not sure why it does this, maybe the servers are just slow at updating certain stats?
And Pool.. do you mean you only won 19 tracks or that you won 20 and it only recorded 19 of them? Because there are 20 tracks for Road… then the additional tracks for boats/helicopters. I dont know whats going on with the servers, but that trophy is obtainable… weird..
Also, The easiest way to get the “Rolled over” trophy is to head over to the park located on the furthest right island. If you park a car in front of a swingset, you will be launched into the air. The chances of you rolling over 5 times are alot higher. Sorry its kind of hard to explain.

killing 200 pigeons in the game unlocks the annhilator helicopter (if you havent been using cheats then this is a big deal, if you’ve used cheats then it doesnt really matter).
It also gets you the “Endangered Species” trophy and moves you closer to getting 100% in the game

actually, I think the problem is with Cops N Crooks
people forget that they have to win as both cops and crooks in one match, ’sigh’ but despite doing this it wouldn’t credit me with the win and i’m still here 1 win away from “Taking it for the team” supposedly. It does this to me in races aswell.

Have you tried winning your matches consecutively? This SHOULDNT be the case (you should be able to win the matches whenever you want so long as you win). But it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try if you really want the trophy. It sucks that the servers are messed up.
But for “taking it for the team” play one round after another in order from Team Deathmatch all the way down to Turf Wars. The easiest way to get it done is to host the matches yourself, that way you can put it to the shortest time/$ amount possible and control the order of the games. This might work?
I got “Top of the midnight club” and “taking it for the team” just fine… so I don’t know why the trophy works for some and not for others. I’m not sure what else to tell you. Sorry.

Also, for cops N crooks keep in mind there are two variations to the game “All for One” and “One for all”
Have you tried winning as a cop and as a crook back to back on both variants? Don’t know if this would make a difference.. but either way, I suggest trying it. Worst case scenario, you won’t have to redo it when you try and get the “Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic” trophy

I was wondering, to get the “taking it for the team” trophy are the 3 missions ” Deal Breaker, Hangmans NOOSE, and Bomb the Base II” part of that trophy’s team game requirements also?
Also i was watching the you tube video here of Bomb the Base II wher he supposedly beats it in under the time required of 5:32, but in the video you can clearly see the timer is up into the 7 minute area before the match ends =\.
So i am a bit confused on that one.

Trophies for PS3 are basically the same thing as Xbox Achievements. They are something you can earn as an extra challenge/added bonus of playing a game. If you look in the “Game” tab on your XMB then go to “Trophy Collection” it will show you the games you have played which have trophies available. Simply pick a game.. and it will give you the list of trophies that you have to complete and what you have to do to complete them.
For GTA you must start a new game, game saves prior to the Trophy patch will not allow you to earn trophies.

I was trying to think of something you might be forgeting,but am unable to come up with anything. Unless, when you did the 20th race did you lof out shortly after? If not than I am fresh out of ideas. of you did though, I would go win a couple more races and just wait online for a while for it to register and hopefully make the trophy unlock for you.

Thats impossible to do and I highly doubt that a game company would do that.
Well i take it back, its not impossible if you have no life and play the game for days straight,you dont sleep, or you just never turn your ps3 off and hope you dont get disconnected from the server. So I say, if anyone of you fit into one of those categories it might be possible,but if you are like me and have other obligations you have to do throught the day than its impossible.

I have that trophy. I didnt do every mission in one session, however if you are having trouble with it, it couldnt hurt? The matches can be done fairly quickly. The only missions I did do back-to-back was I made sure that I won “Cops’N'Crooks” as both the cops and the crook in one match.
As for the time on this forum… I have no idea lol.. for me, it says you wrote your last post at 5:02 AM yesterday morning. hahaha.

As far as the “taking it for the team” trophy I am not sure if i am having a problem with it yet, as i have not done all the team game modes since patch,but i dont suspect i will have one as the others have been unlocking for me when they are supposed to.Well for the most part lol. I will know soon enough though with the way we have been knocking out all those races haha, I will be working on that trophy soon =)

im having trouble with gta 4 trophies. i havent gone online for four days lol cos ive been tryin 2 get 100% on gta 4 before i try the online trophies. iv done everything 2 get 2 100% but the game says im on 98.33% lol. probaly missed something and im kinda pissed why did rockstar hav 2 make thse trophies so long and hard? i mean the “auf whendersen” and “wanted” trophy are ridiculosly hard. youd have 2 be playin many hours a day 2 get them. but im aiming 4 the platinum and i aint givin up lol. im rank 8 btw so hopefully rank 10 isnt 2 far away!

to get to rank 9 you need 2.5 million. and for level 10.. 5 million. i dont mean between each level, i mean in total.. once you get to level 10 you will have 5 million.
for 100%, just look at any trophies you may not have already gotten and go from there.
regardless.. heres what you need:
- kill 200 pigeons
- do 50 stunt jumps
- beat qubed high score
- unlock your friends special abilities (get them to like you more that 75%)
- beat a friend/random player at pool, bowling and darts
- do all 90 story missions
- win all 10 of brucies races
- do all 10 of Lil Jacobs delivery missions
- deliver all 30 text message cars to stevie
- do all 9 assassination missions
- deliver 10 exotic cars to brucie (he says what cars he wants via email)
- kill all 30 most wanted men in LC (10 per island)
- do 20 vigilante missions
- do all activities with Brucie, Lil Jacob and Packie
- meet all random strangers (you have the option to kill people throughout story mode.. if you killed people, dont worry, they dont count toward this)
juding by your percentage, you probably just missed some activities with friends.

I got my teamplayer trophy today. It unlocked without a problem once I killed a 5th Different enemy in Team Deathmatch.
Wow 5 million for level 10 ^^
Well think of it this way. if you do hangmans noose and get the 4500 each time,you only have to play 1112 matches lol.
Well thats if your just starting.So at my current level,if i stopped going for the other trophies and focused on that one specificly i only gotta do 1055 more matches haha.
I think i will stick to the working on the other ones first.

ty for the info gamer47. i finally figured that i forgot 2 take packie 2 the strip club lol and after that i got the “key to the city” trophy. and for the “wanted” trophy thats gonna take forever. im gettin cod5 and restance 2 so yeh that wanted trophy is very frustrating. but i wont give up lol!

im having a freakin nightmare with the online trophies.
iv completed about 30 DIFERENT race traks on race bode online but i aint got the “top the midnight club trophy”. iv checked the leaderboards aswell and theyve registered so i dont know y i dont have no trophy. does any1 no y? any help would be great

@pobert06, just do an online search and you can pull up a map with all of them on there. There is also a website you can access in one of the internet cafes in the game that will show you all of them, I just cant remember it off the top of my head.

I would suggest going on youtube though, there are some great video guides that you can use along with a map if need be

all my races are registered too!!!
I heard of a new GTA IV patch so maybe this could be what we have all been praying for!!!!
