Since I was able to obtain this platinum quite easily (approx. 25 hours) I decided to write
out this guide for how to obtain each and everyone of them.

You may notice that this guide is differently formatted to my other guide but I believe that
it is easier to follow this way as the trophies are in the order that appear in the list.

Let us begin…

Assassin's Creed II

1 Platinum  1 Gold   15 Silver   34 Bronze    51 Total

Master Assassin – Platinum
Easy enough, just obtain every other trophy and it's yours.

The Birth of an Assassin – Bronze
Very easy, at the beginning of the game just follow the on screen instructions when
Ezio is born to move his limbs and the trophy is done.

Arrivederci Abstergo – Bronze
Also easy, follow Lucy out through the Abstergo building and beat up the guys in the carpark to get it.

Welcome to the Animus 2.0 – Silver
The easiest silver trophy out there. Just talk to Shaun, Lucy then Rebecca at the hideout then enter the Animus and 'ding'.

The Pain of Betrayal – Silver
Complete all the story missions in Sequence One to unlock it. None of the missions are particularly difficult apart from one as they mostly offer a slight tutorial and introduction effect so I will not go into any detail with all of them. When you go to see Giovanni in prison, use the back of the building to gain access to the roof then climb the tower to speak to him.

Venegance – Silver
Complete al the story missions in Sequence Two to unlock it. This sequence is quite short and offers no challenge  apart from the Assassination. The easiest way is drop into the Palazzo from the back and simply sneak up behind the target to kill him.

Exit the Son – Silver
Complete sequence three which is very short to earn it.

Bloody Sunday – Silver
Once again another short sequence which offers vey little challenge.

Undertaker – Silver
Awarded for finding the first Assassin's Tomb. It's story related so it can't be missed.

The Conspirators – Silver
This sequence has you killing of the Pazzi conspirators one by one.

An Unexpected Journey – Silver
An insanely short and easy sequence that involves you merely speaking to Da Vinci twice and riding the carriage.

 

Bleeding Effect – Silver
With Desmond's new found skills, just run around activating the security systems till your done. Then head back up the stairs to trigger a short sequence as Altair in Acre.

 

The Merchant of Venice – Silver
A long sequence but it shouldn't be too difficult.

The Impenetrable Palazzo – Silver
Ahh…flying time, its very short and easy, just mind the flying section that you get Fly Swatter whilst attempting it.

 

Masquerade – Silver
It's Carnevale time in Venice and your next target is the Templar Doge. The sequence mostly has you competing in some easy competitions such as a race, a pickpocket event, a game of CTF and a fight. Finish these then steal the mask to enter the party and assassinate the Doge via the hidden gun.

Bianca's Man – Silver
Another quick and easy sequence.

The Prophet – Silver
Another very short two mission sequence which involves you tailing a guard then imitating him. Then a short fight with Rodrigo Borgia.

The Vault – Silver
Fast forward 11 years, skip two sequences and Ezio is now 40 years old. To show this he now shows off his goatee. This two mission sequence requires you to first allign the codex wall then infiltratre the Sisten Chapel and kill Borgia. Luckily, Borgia is insanely easily to kill. Just grab him, punch, knee and headbutt him repeatidly and eventually he'll stop. Then use eagle vision to find the shortcut and follow him, then repeat it once more and he's done.

An Old Friend Returns – Gold
Now that Desmond has gained all Ezio's skills and a hidden blade, it's time to finish it. Just run down the stairs, kill the first wave of Abstergo guards, move forward, kill the second wave then run up to Vidic in the truck to finish it.

Myth Maker – Bronze
Hidden around the Villa are 8 statues each of which represents a Roman God. Find all 8 for the trophy.

Vitruvian Man – Bronze
Solving all the glyphs will award you not only with a trophy but also 'The Truth' a very intresting video. Here are the glyph locations and solutions.

Street Cleaner – Bronze
Very easy indeed, just kill 5 guards in the same area (near a hay or leaf pile) and carry there bodies over to it. You must put all 5 bodies in the same pile.

Fly Swatter – Bronze
Since you only have one opportunity per playthrough to earn this trophy, I would recommend that you focus on earning it before you try to finish the section. Just look onto any guard on a rooftop and fly towards them. Ezio will automatically kick them off the building.

Messer Sandman – Bronze
Try to gather up say 5 guards at once and unarm yourself, then try to sort them out in front of you so that they cluster up, then hold square in low-profile to pick up sand and release it when you think they are all together.

Doctor – Bronze
Just find a guard standing by himself and poison him, the switch to the hidden blade, climb above him and lock on. Then assassinate him. Simple.

No-hitter – Bronze
Possibly one of the hardest trophies in the game. Not only because killing ten enemies without being hit is hard but also because it's hard to get ten in one fight without breaking combat. I managed to get very lucky and got 13 in one fight. Some tips are, try to attack a patrolling group of three guards near a bank, this way the four guards from the bank will join in. Don't wittle it down to just one guard before you try to get more because they usually just run away. I would suggest attempting it in Florence as they mostly have average guards and you should have
the Sword of Altair when attempting it. As for the fighting, my technique was to counter as much as possible and occasionally attack a guard when they stopped blocking. Some people use smoke bombs to distract them however I was unsure as to if this would work as it seemed to break combat for me. Good luck.

Kleptomaniac – Bronze
Very easy, you can either try pickpocketing everyone you see at the start of the game, you can do it slowly over time, or you can just stop a pickpocket and take over 500f in one go, once you have a 1000f, the trophies is yours.

 

Lightning Strike – Bronze
Just sprint for 100 metres in one go. Try to avoid the crowds as much as possible and it's yours in no time.

Venetian Gladiator – Bronze
Discover the Assassin's Tomb inside Santa Maria della Visitazione.
Finding the tomb locations is easy enough and they are fun to figure out.

I can see your house from here! – Bronze
Discover the Assassin's Tomb inside the Torre Grossa

Hallowed be thy name – Bronze
Discover the Assassin's Tomb inside the Basilica di San Marco

Prison Escape – Bronze
Discover the Assassin's Tomb inside the Rocca di Ravaldino fortress

Choir Boy – Bronze
Discover the Assassin's Tomb inside Santa Maria del Fiore (The Duomo)

Assassin for Hire – Bronze
Complete any of the assassination contracts available at the pigeon coops.

Macho Man – Bronze
Complete any beat up event. It excludes the event that you do for Claudia.

Steal Home – Bronze
Complete any thieves race. Just race through all the markers in time in any event
and its yours.

Show your colors – Bronze
Awarded for wearing the Auditore cape in every city. To unlock it you must first deposit all
100 feathers into the chest in Maria's room. Then fast travel to every city and you must also wear
it in the Appenine Mountains.

 

Handy Man – Bronze
Simply upgrade any building you like in the Villa…choose the Brothel, you know you want to…

I like the view – Bronze
Just sync any ten viewpoints you like and its done.

High Dive – Bronze
Perform a Leap of Faith from the Top of Florence's Giotto's Campanile
To climb this tower you must first climb the side of the large church then jump off the side and climb around the side of the tower to the left and climb in through the side to climb upwards.

Mailman – Bronze
The Borgia Couriers are the men you run away from you on sight. Not to be confused with pickpockets as the do not show up on the map. Tackle them to the ground to earn an easy 1000f and the trophy.

Tip of the Iceberg – Bronze
Just scan any glyph in the enviroment, you don't even have to solve the puzzle to get it.

Art Connoisseur – Bronze
Just buy the cheapest painting in Florence and the cheapest painting in Venice and its done.

Podestà of Monteriggioni – Bronze
To reach 80% of the stringholds value you need to upgrade every shop, repair every building and site as well as improve your armor and weapons collections or paintings and codex wall.

Perfect Harmony – Bronze
Tint your clothes with those colors: Wetland Ebony and Wetland Ivory
Dye your clothes those two colors one after the other and its done. Those colors can be found in
Romagna/Forli.

In Memory of Petruccio – Bronze
The hardest trophy made easy via maps. Find all 100 feathers and its yours.

Red Light Addict – Bronze
To spend 5000f on Courtesans you will have to hire exactly 33.3333….groups of them, or just hire 34 and its done.

Man of the People – Bronze
Just keep throwing away your hard earned florins 30 times and your done.

Victory lies in preperation – Bronze
You will need all the armor, all the hidden blade extras and all the pouches to get it.

And thats it, Platinum is yours. Assassin's Creed 2's platinum is fun to earn 
it doesn't feel like as much of a chore as others game and so you will enjoy it. (With the exception of a few trophies).
