I was undecided about the trailers as the graphics seemed to have a horrible blurry effect but having played the game I'm a lot more impressed.
It plays like a cross between Uncharted and Darksiders. The platforming is fun and the combat feels meaty. The character and level design are pretty cool as well. Normally when a game is post-apocalyptic and inhabited by mechs, the developers can't see past sand covered wastes and cities that seem to have been levelled by bombs filled with fag-ash. Enslaved chooses vibrancy instead and it works nicely.
I wasn't expecting it to be very good but man was I wrong it's like an OTT uncharted loved it and the narrative looks to be very good and the girl at the end is pretty hot too might have to be buying this game
It's not only that she's hot but she feels like a proper character. We only get a few scenes of dialogue but I already want to find out what happens to the two of them.
And the mechs just look class. The clips at the end of the demo show off some seriously mean looking enemies and the detail and thought gone into them is awesome. If the climbing and platforming is Uncharted then the boss battles look like they've taken a page or two out of God of War's book.
