Played alot of games, And reciently got into gamefly so my list will be skyrocketing soon, But, Here are the games I have cleared and in order, How easy they are to get platinums for. As well as a difficulty meter.
The List will start out with the easiest games, Followed by harder, and harder, and harder.
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{
Easy Platinum Guide

1:
Game: Terminator Salvation
Effort: 1/10
Time: 2/10
Info:
11 gold, 1 platinum. Yeah, a GODLY ammount of gold trophies, and the best part? NOTHIN BUT GOLD! Now, What do you have to get all these wonderful trophies? Beat the game IN EASY MODE! ONCE! Then you have them all!
================================
================================
2:
Game: Sonic`s Ultimate Genesis Collection
Effort: 2/10
Time: 3/10
Info:
Lots of trophies here, 4 gold and a platinum, All for doing the simplest of things from your oldschool classic games, And No, Cheating does NOT descriminate against you getting a trophy, Say that the trophy is reach level 4? Then cheat to get to level 3, complete it, then bam, trophy. Best part, the games are awsome <3 Took me less than a day after buying this to get all the trophies.
================================
================================
3:
Game: Resident Evil 5
Effort: 5/10
Time: 6/10
Info:
Simple. If your a RE fan, you should know how to fire a gun right? Well no worries, Seeing as with a combination of online mode, co-op, AND an infinite rocket launcher unlockable which instakills ANY boss, This platinum will be yours in less than 4 days.
================================
================================
4:
Game: Burnout Paradise
Effort: 6/10
Time: 6/10
Info:
Another easy one if you ask me, Racing games are always easy, the only thing is it has repetetiveness, Unfortunately for you, To get a platinum, you have to have a PS2`s eyetoy, or Playstation Eye to get one of the bronze trophies in online mode, If you plan to get this platinum, Find someone with a webcam or at least have one compatable beforehand, And, Be ready, because to get your burnout licence you have to complete 100+ races in offline mode overall.
================================
================================
5:
Game: Mirrors Edge
Effort: 9/10
Time: 10/10
Info:
Pwhew…Glad I got this beast out of the way…It was insanely easy to get the ingame trophies, And the hard mode trophies, So easy, I did it twice before I got a platinum. Now…Normally you would thing “Eh, Whats so hard about a few timetrials after you beat the game?” Well. If you had any idea how many different paths you can take to make shortcuts in this mess of a parkour game, Then you would know. Completeing 7 checkpoints in less than 45 seconds is nothing to shake your head at and call easy. If you want an easy platinum, Stear clear of this game, If you want a fun game, Pick it up sometime as a rental.
================================
================================
6:
Game: Call of duty World At War ( 5 )
Effort: 9/10
Time: 10/10
Info:
Alright, For you to understand where I am coming from, I have dominated every single shooting game ever, I have cleared every MGS game with big boss ranking, And online mode for W@W, I pull back to back rounds with ratios of 18/2 for k/d, But, This game, I absolutely could NOT get the last 4 stages completed on veteran mode! No matter how much I tried, how hard I grinded, I could only grind say, halfway through the level, Then it was just entirely un-clearable. EVERY other trophie (with the exception of “sum of all zeros”) I had gotten with ease, but no matter what I just couldnt get these last ones. Stear clear of this if you cherish your sanity, You will want to kill yourself after losing so much trying to get the last stages in veteran mode.

July 11, 2009 at 4:34 pm #30146parnakasMemberpretty cool idea man!!
i wouldnt give CoD WaW a 10.. maybe an 8.
July 11, 2009 at 5:32 pm #30158Ps3 FreakMemberGood idea… same as parnakes said wouldnt give WAW a 10 but… and also i wouldnt have rated Burnout Paradise as you have… and why not have a “is it fun” factor….
July 11, 2009 at 7:07 pm #30163iruleuMemberi would give cod 5 a 9/10…i threw my controller cause of it
July 11, 2009 at 7:13 pm #30165Ps3 FreakMemberi dont see why some of you guys getting annoyed with cod5, admittingly last 2 lvls are nearly impossible, but it is possible… and i think some of you guys have anger problems lol
July 12, 2009 at 4:18 am #30207HypnosisMemberagreed. Cod definitly not a 10 but still pretty hard. The thing is, it doesnt matter how good your are at the online mode of a fps. The single player campaign has to be played completely different. This is where I think alot of people make the mistake of playing online first and getting really good at that and think they will be good once the play single player. it just doesnt work like that. Its really hard to train yourself not to play like your playing online once you been doin it for so long. When I started playing co-op missiions with people I could always tell who the ones were that played online all the time.They were the ones that constantly had “Revive” above their heads due to them trying to run and gun like they were playing online.
For me anyways I always play the single player first, so I dont get into that online gameplay mode first, and so far it has worked out pretty good. The only parts that got me hung up in cod:waw on vet difficulty was the last tunnel in the trenches level,Blowtorch and corkscrew or burn em out, i forget what the name of it was. And the very biggining of the last level,but that was mainly due to me not knowing the game glitched on me(allegedly lol).
Just my opinion though. To each their own. Everyone will find something that works for them eventually.

Tell me, Have you played a game called the last remnent? Well. If you have a platinum on that, Your a god of gaming, And yet half the people i know with platinums on it, Dont have one for CoD5
EDIT:
Edited the main post, And mods, Dont get upset for me editing title posts, Its not like I am abusing your system, I am simply trying to have a controled thread where we can all have a community effort to make something good.
Changes made: CoD5 is now a 9.
July 12, 2009 at 11:52 pm #30292HypnosisMemberI have heard of that last remnant game. I didnt think it had trophies though,but if you say it does i'll take your word for it. Thats strange that that many poeple you know dont have a cod5 plat. its the opposit for me. Most people i know or have on my firends list that have played the game have a plat on it. Like i said its definitly hard,but not a 9-10 in my opinion. you want a game that is really hard to get plat on. I would say the effort and time it takes to get the gta4 plat puts that one at a 10. I know only very few people with the gta 4 plat. 3 to be exact(i am sure there is more,just saying i only know 3 people who have it) 2 poeple on my friends list and myself. And us 3 have it cause we all worked our butts off for months to get it. Another one that takes forever to get and i havnt seen anyone with yet is the warhawk plat. I dont know if its because its hard, i think its mainly the time involved in getting to the general rank that makes it a really tough one.
July 13, 2009 at 1:19 am #30295parnakasMemberhow dis you edit your first post? Doesnt this site only allow you to only edit your last post?

July 13, 2009 at 1:40 am #30299CollbreastParticipantfirst off, mirrors edge is VERY fun & VERY easy to get 100%… i mean including dlc maps.. took me 3 days to plat it. only ‘challenging’ part was jacknife speed run. and as for cod waw.. you are talking out your a**.. again 3 days to do all trophys.. only reason i took 6 was i had to wait for the patch to get blue ribbon trophy as games would end & give people no points & if you hoste, it would freeze. anyway last 2 levels on veteran werent as hard as you all make out, i suggest getting better at FPS’s before complaining its too hard. only problem i had was getting ammo! just makes me laugh when you all cry about it & as for throwing a controller, WOW! take a chill pill.. if you cant do it, take a break & try laer lol
July 13, 2009 at 1:44 am #30300ThickbrowMemberWorld at War was the game i started to say “F THIS” to in regards to spending hour after hour trying to get a platnium.
I had already played through the game and enjoyed it…it was only to get a trophy.
Hell even though Terminator was easy i said “F THIS” to trying to clear some of the harder parts. There was so much loading time and crap cut scene time and glitches that it just wasn't fun.
Burnout was easier than 6/10 IMO. I got all the trophies for that game in 1 day (minus the camera one). I did go all day at it though.

couple things…
1: NOT EVERYBODY IS THE SAME…so just cause you can do it in 6 days DOESNT mean everyone else should.
2: Ive been playing FPS's almost my whole life (since i got my playstation)…im VERY good at online on cod 4 & 5. Actually im great at online (as long as im not lagging) and can beat TONS of people…
tip: it doesnt matter what rank u are. i beat a rank 55, tenth prestige, on cod 4 when i was a level 3.
3: A lot of people have thrown their controller because of games. my friends cousin has broken like atleast 7-9 controllers (ps2). See a lot of people get mad. some of us jus have short tempers.
thats all…
p.s. srry if i sounded angry

Thats how i am in CoD4. I'm like a 31 and i was first place in a match with 40 kills and 6 deaths.
