How long did it take you? Whats the best trophy guide?September 10, 2009 at 2:34 pm #42637I773D33MABL3Member
It took me about fifty hours without a guide. That also included a bit of wandering around killing stuff for fun so I've no doubt with a guide and purpose you'll shorten it considerably.September 10, 2009 at 3:20 pm #42638BigWoopMagazineMember
While I haven't done it, its because for some odd reason my game keeps freezing, and I got pissed. Its possible to do it in one run. Save right before leveling to 8, 14, and 20, so you can get each karmic associated trophy. Do every quest, hack everything you see, and lock pick everything you can. 35-40 hours easy, probably less. Especially quick using a guide to find the bobbleheads. This game is fun to explore though,,, Its enormous, I wouldn't rush it. Maybe thats just me though.September 10, 2009 at 4:58 pm #42731monkeymoobsMember
i am not sure it was a game i kept going back too in total it took me 5 months but hours of gameplay around 40-50 thing is it sounds alot but when your playing you dont care because its so good i didn't use a guide apart from a vid on youtube to find the last few bobbleheadsSeptember 10, 2009 at 5:50 pm #42733
Thanks for everything!
I can't beat the first level Escape, lol i feel so dumb. What do i have to do, i don't want to look on youtube. What do i have to do???September 10, 2009 at 5:54 pm #42734
NVM i just beat itSeptember 10, 2009 at 7:05 pm #42738pool96Member
I keep hearing around 40-50 hours for Fallout 3 platinum but I don't have the game so.September 10, 2009 at 8:13 pm #42740
Fallout 3 is hard, i guess its just the beggining when your strongest gun is that 10mm thing. But I like it. And the missions are fricki'n long. like an hour each, thats 28h+all the other trophies.September 10, 2009 at 8:23 pm #42742I773D33MABL3Member
It definitely isn't a game you should rush. The temptation to charge through it for the plat is there but you'd be doing yourself a disservice. The game is fantastic and there is so much to find that you miss just sticking to the missions. I'm looking forward to starting the whole thing again when the DLC arrives.September 10, 2009 at 8:39 pm #42743kingofgames73Member

if your finding it hard turn the difficulty down btw this reduces amount of XP you gain from killingSeptember 10, 2009 at 9:54 pm #42751NodanodMember
tbh, the main stroy line only takes a minimal ammount of time 2 rush through, but i do advise u 2 just explore around, take ur time and actually pay attention 2 the mini quests, which are v.gd 4 the storyline aswell 😛
btw, dont forget, soon DLC will be out, so plat will overall be 53%ish 🙂September 10, 2009 at 10:21 pm #42753W4RG34R3D_SN1P3RMember
I was thinking the same thing , might give it a shot with Goty editionSeptember 11, 2009 at 2:37 pm #42816BigWoopMagazineMember
Don't turn the difficulty down!! heh, its hardest in the beginning I think. Once you get some better weapons you can work your way up to killing stronger stuff. Once you complete the Escape! quest, its total free roam, so you can go places you shouldn't yet and die. You just need to figure out where you can go and survive, plus figure out the little nuances of the battle system. It ain't your typical shooter or RPG, fo sho.September 11, 2009 at 2:42 pm #42818gow2rulesMember
probably will get the goty edition around christmas and take a crack at the platinum
