just a thought, getting trophies easy mode

say there is a really tough trophy that you wanna get, like play a game through in hard mode without dying once. This sounds impossible and most peeps probs wont be able to do it. But say some hardcore pro manages to do it, and saves the game just before they complete the game. They then put the save game online for other peeps to download, and as they do the final bit of the game, will they get the trophy?

another example, say you need 100 kills to get a trophy. Someone gets 99 kills and saves the game, posts the save file on the net, and peeps download this. Then if they get 1 more kill to make 200 kills, will that give them the trophy?

im just curious to see if it is possible at all, leave your thoughts,

Nope not possible to do as far as I know. You are unable to load a save game that was saved under a different user/psn name.

yeah they discussed that when trophies first came out for the ps3.

the trophies are basically locked to an individuals psn account. Not the save game.

yeah i tried that with Devil May Cry 4..i know that it doesnt have trophies but it states that the save game is not mine so my scores will not register on the leaderboards..

oh so you cant get trophys by using someone elses save data? Damn, I was ganna do it for resistance for the 10000 kills. let me tell you something if you want to get the R2 plat, it gets boring after 4500 kills that youd want to quit and stop playing FPS games!

even if you borrow someone's save for Resistance 2 even if they have 10000 kills,you won't get 10000 kills…because your stats are counted through online and they are stored in Insomniac's servers not in your PS3..

my best tip for the 10000 Kills trophy is find a decent or a fun clan you can play together with..that way you won't get bored getting that trophy..
