It would be good to have the choice, I already have a headset and the PSEye, so don't need the bundle. As for size, Siren is about 9GB.October 16, 2008 at 11:26 am #18176PS3 TrophiesKeymaster

Guess i will bring it back on topic.
The PS3 Eye cam is an incredible piece of work, I have the 360 cam and its the biggest load of so and so.
The PS cam is so sharp auto light adj, auto focus and the Mic works so well for online, while i do not recommend it for full on online play as a headset is best, it does do its job if needed and 2 online friends only use this as a mic and get by very well but can become a little hard for them to hear everyone due to our voices coming though the same speakers as the games sound.
On games like Eye of judgment the Cam is just so perfect picking up every card and never getting it wrong(well never has for me) Sony should really give themselves a patt on the back with this unit they built.October 19, 2008 at 3:47 pm #18420gamerbenMember

The camera is 640×480, the qulaity is what counts here, its not blury, colour less, jerky or pixelated like other cams are of same res, compared to the 360 cam this is like a ferrari and the 360 cams like a 1940 dog box.
Camera Info from Wikipedia-
The PlayStation Eye is capable of capturing standard video with frame rates of 60 hertz at a 640×480 pixel resolution, and 120 hertz at 320×240 pixels, which is “four times the resolution” and “two times the frame-rate” of the EyeToy, according to Sony.
he PlayStation Eye also has “two times the sensitivity” of the EyeToy, with Sony collaborating with sensor chip partner OmniVision Technologies on a sensor chip design using larger sensor pixels, allowing for more effective low-light operation. Sony states that the PlayStation Eye can produce “reasonable quality video” under the illumination provided by a television set.
The PlayStation Eye features a built-in four-capsule microphone array, with which the PlayStation 3 can employ technologies for multi-directional voice location tracking, echo cancellation, and background noise suppression. This allows the peripheral to be used for speech recognition and audio chat in noisy environments without the use of a headset. The PlayStation Eye microphone array operates with each channel processing 16-bit samples at a sampling rate of 48 kilohertz, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 90 decibels
