This is not a thread to say what weapons or perks are the best, just giving tips for beginners.
Will write just a few to let others post their tips too-One of the most important thing is to stay in cover mode, don’t run in the open like an idiot, you’ll get shot immeadiatly. If you have to move go from cover to cover.
— Don’t stay at the same place for too long, especially if you don’t have a silenced weapon.
– Learn when to reload, you don’t want to have to reload when you’re in front of an enemy, don’t reload in the open, try to be hidden.
– Stay out of the doorway, it’s not a good hiding place…LOL

November 7, 2009 at 4:42 pm #49274monkeymoobsMemberto avoid verbal abuse dont use juggernaught or martyrdom
November 7, 2009 at 4:46 pm #49233CoryAllenMemberi thought juggernaut was not in mw2? anyways yeah ppl hate people who use those noob perks
November 7, 2009 at 6:37 pm #49303JEG050Memberi have a question. Is there martyrdom in modern warfare 2?
November 7, 2009 at 6:54 pm #49304CoryAllenMembercheck the mw2 perks thread. but i do think so. not 100% sure though. i wish there wasn't though!
November 7, 2009 at 6:57 pm #49306monkeymoobsMemberyh i hate that perk keep getting team killed and juggern00b is annoying but not as annoying cos hardly anyone uses it anymore
November 7, 2009 at 7:01 pm #49308NinjacatMemberNovember 7, 2009 at 7:03 pm #49310monkeymoobsMembersweet making martyrdom a deathstreak is better than keeping it as a normal perk god damn it i cant wait for MW2
November 7, 2009 at 8:15 pm #49313In2umniaKillH3rMember– Learn the maps well, when you’re in a hurry, it’s not the time to search where to go.
-killcam can be useful but can also be your enemy, it’s good to see where to enemy was but also useful to see the errors you have made. if you kill someone, he know where you are, expect him to come hunt you as he respawn, so don’t stay there for too long.
– If you have a mic, make a good use of it and communicate, it will be easier.Don’t sing or yell thing or play music…

Have you seen how many plats he's got? He ain't no noob
November 7, 2009 at 9:38 pm #49319Collbreast_23MemberTo be fair.. his platinum count is related in no way to his skill on FPS's… please now take your head, out his ass, and keep it on your shoulders… unless youve seen him play yourself which i doubt seeing as you based your view then on his platinum total.
Oh and In2umniaKillH3r if you felt the need to make a guide for pointers for those new to COD and FPS's you could have made ALOT more points for them to take into account.. i dare say anyone on this site with any level of experience in the Call of Duty series could have come up with lets say 20+ easily.. that are of more use than 'stay out of doorways'.. im not saying you shouldnt give people tips, and im not trying to have a massive arguement with you (it will seem that way but thats how i like to word things). Just at least make them reasonably useful pointers and give a bigger list, anyone with half a brain who has purchased any FPS will know not to stand in doorways, man thats common sense, even if you had some situation in real life like that. If someone was raiding your house, you wouldnt stand and think, now what would i do if i was playing cod. lol end of rant
November 7, 2009 at 9:45 pm #49320In2umniaKillH3rMemberI’m not a noob and i also don’t consider myself an expert, i’m good but not great, just giving advice to all the newcomers throughout my long career in COD4.
Lv 55 Pres 10 , all golden guns and all challenges completed.
I can say i have enough experience.
Like Collbreast said, it’s not because i have alot of lats that i’m better tha anyone.November 7, 2009 at 9:47 pm #49321emdeepeeMemberCollbreast_23 said:

Will the real Collbreast please stand up? Is it Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde tonight?
My understanding of the term noob is someone with little experience in a particular area. The fact that he's achieved x amount of platinums would therefore mean that he's managed to achieve a high level in said area. You can argue that he could have got the trophies through persistance but there would also have to be a certain level of skill involved.
