Memberwoah woah woah now…. I feel the need to defend my country here, despite the incredible odds against me. Ahem… first off this is highly dependent on where in the country you go. I find that in certain cities it is more prominent than others. Where I live, I rarely see fat people. I assume thats because they are too lazy to leave their houses and walk around. What I do see are lots of people of average weight walking to where they are going. I think that unless you really have a horrible diet, or for some odd reason drive everywhere, its hard to get fat in the city. You have to walk everywhere! Ratchet, I'm surprised to hear this out of you, when I visited LA a couple years ago I saw some of the skinniest girls I've ever seen. I guess I also have the advantage of living near a college campus, but around here I see people running every day, walking their dogs, theres gyms everywhere, my co workers go work out and play basket ball on their lunch breaks (yea thats too nuts for me), and I generally see a lot of physically fit people. However, in rural areas, where you have to drive every where to get anywhere, and fast food is as close to a real restaraunt as it gets, you see a lot more tubbies. They don't walk their dogs, they let them out in a yard. They don't jog, they have cars.
@Parnakas – I gotta ask where you went, because no offense dude, but those people probably weren't as dumb as they seem (although, its definitely possible). Its pretty common in America to make fun of Canada… I'm not really sure why though. I think if they asked you about your igloo, they were being straight up jerks. Maybe not, if you went out into the sticks some people are pretty freaking dumb.
While I will admit that there are a lot of ignorant and obese people here, it still is not the majority of our population. Don't assume everyone here is like that. Oh and uh, steak and eggs for breakfast is pretty rediculous, no doubt. I saw that on a diner menu the other day,,, WTF?!
What gets me is the fat people who wear skin tight clothes…. do they look in a ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** mirror?!

MemberAvatar 8/10 – MK was cool in the 90's.
Sig 1/10 – you got a point for having a sig… but… what?
On the mojo thing – some people around here have a hard time with not taking every comment super seriously… I thought it was kinda funny too… ratchet has a big naked muscle bound dude as his avatar… with body paint. kinda kinky…

MemberI almost submitted to be in this… and then realized having my personality trivialized into a bunch of video bytes and broadcasted across the nation was my worst nightmare. Being a tester is a great way to break into the business, apparently, but it doesn't seem like a great prize for any contest. Seems more like a simple interview should determine whether or not I have the ability to realize when a game is glitching and when its not.
@Yokumo – that cartoon strip is dead on.
Also, anyone whos participated in a beta recently already knows part of what its like to be a tester – if you reported your bugs, you just did their job for free. The only real difference is that some testers already played it to eliminate the bigger bugs you didn't see. Seems like a really frustrating job to me.

Memberuhhh WipEout HD anyone? yeah, its hover crafts instead of cars, but damn, it takes mad skill and reaction time. Great game, great graphics, incredibly challenging, and at a great price. I don't play it as much as I should, but I think thats more or less because I spent such an ungodly amount of time with the classics when I was younger.
Burnout Paradise is slammin'. The best deal on PSN. Especially now that theres a DLC bundle (I think, if its not here yet, its coming).
ModNation racers is shaping up nicely. My only complaint is the extremely long load times… however, what I played was a beta. If they fix that for the final release, it should be a really nice kart racer.
GT5 – well, you just can't go wrong with Gran Turismo. This is going to blow every other racer out of the water. Makes me wish I had more money, time, and less desire to maintain a social life.
I haven't really played any other racers for the PS3, but I think between the four I just named, you should be able to find something you like. Thats everything from casual to hardcore right there.

MemberEven though I know a ton of people with this trophy, and I constantly talk about what a dissapointment MW2 is for me… I have to say that the 69 stars trophy was my most satisfying this year. Theres an important reason. My friend and I spent a lot of time doing “High Explosives” on expert WITHOUT GLITCHING. I wish I had a damn video of it, because when we finally did it it was friggin epic. With my friend distracting the juggs, I got 9 headshots in a row with the thumper and beat it in ~2:35. It sucks that most people did it because of a glitch, because it diminishes the meaning behind having that trophy on my profile. Still though, if you've played it and tried to do the level legitimately, you should have a good understanding of why that was pretty damn cool to me.

MemberI can keep this up for a while, as long as I'm at home on each night. I could for longer if I didn't get that damn YLOD, all my lost game data is killing me. I'm hoping to do Bioshock for the next plat, but I don't know if I'll be ready in time, since a friend just loaned me Wolfenstein and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (I don't plan on using either of those). I have other games near ready too though… just wish I still had my Dead Space data, was on ch.10 of impossible mode, thats the last trophy I need. ohhhh well….

Memberhard to say since I haven't played the fallout DLC. I might just say borderlands DLC, but just because I think its a better game overall. I like that its more shooter based, I got really annoyed with fallout sometimes because it sucks if you try to just go guns blazing, you pretty much have to use VATS all the time. Also, Fallout freezes all the time for me, Borderlands never does. The Braaaaaaaaaaaaaains mission wasn't bad for me (although I don't have the trophy, so close, then YLOD), you just have to get it first and do it as you do the other missions. I always go for criticals with my siren anyways. I think Moxxi's would have been a lot cooler if you got loot from the enemies – it would have made loot farming really fun.

MemberAfter trying the online a few times I no longer have any desire to even boost for the online trophies, let alone play it out. Its just too laggy, a pain in the ass to connect… etc, etc… sorry guys. If you happen to catch me when I'm not intent on playing something else, I could let you win a round or two, but don't expect me to be excited about it.
And while I'm not a huge fan of the online – the single player is still worth a play through, especially if you like metal music. The soundtrack in this game is friggin awesome!

screw that, im done with GTA4 i hated that game. Its way to overrated and it was way to hyped. San Andreas ftw.
um aren't you a little too young to play gta4
i really loved gta4 it had a great story some amazing missions like the one where you could either ring up the guy you had to assassinate to get him in your view or shoot down his satelite dish
Ratchet is probably a prime example of why we have activists up in arms every time a mature video game is released. They're not paying enough attention to keep such things away from their children. Not that I care in the slightest that this 12 year old kid has played a game where you can kill a cop, steal his car, run people over on the side walk, pick up a hooker, bang her and pay her, get out and kill her to take your money back, and then continue your rampage. I did all this when I was 13 (wait what? GTA wasn't out yet! ohhhhh…. he means in real life…).
Vice city was my favorite. San Andreas was cool, I liked the gang wars for territory. GTA4 just didn't bring enough new stuff to the table for me, I kinda felt like I was just doing it all over again with better graphics. So I was never worried about when or if this DLC would ever make it to us…

MemberI didn't realize this game was supposed to have multiplayer, although I guess it would be easy to do. I liked the “Dead Eye Aiming”, seems like a good way to make the gun fights more intense and fun.

MemberWow that is really expensive – hopefully by the time the price drops there will be a bundle deal for the DLC – they just announced the third one coming “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx”. At $10 a pop its starting to get a little pricey for the DLC too!
And like I posted earlier it should only take an hour or less to get the online trophies – theres only like 5 of them.
EDIT: If you need help getting them, I play this game A LOT. Just hit me up and I'll pop in with a low level char so you can kill me.

The PC can probably support the HD Visuals of a console.. IF you are willing to spend a mass amount of money on a screen. Imo, PC gaming is not worth it.. Waayy to expensive for my liking.
It definitely can and you don't need to spend any extra money on a screen – most tv's come with a special port for hooking your pc into. I'm sure you want an alternate screen for using the computer while watching tv, but you could definitely get some epic gaming in on a big screen with a pc if you really wanted.
@Antony – agreed. Thats why the only Blizzard game that I've never played or owned is World of Warcraft. So far.
