I think level 19-20ish?  Not sure honestly.  Kinda found out that the rocket launching shotgun probably wasn't my best choice, but it was the best thing I had equipped and wasn't really prepared for that fight. 

Hypnosis – If you go to New Haven and look around the rooftops of the buildings there are a lot of chests to open that spawn random weapons.  Often times they are pretty decent.  Try to get 3 other people in the game first, so they spawn better loot.  I can help you beat Krom if you need, I did it the other day, it was somewhat difficult as a low level siren. 

Anyone else – I'm pretty sure I'll be on this weekend, unless a particular individual of the female persuasion calls me back.  So hit me up for some games.  I'm juggling between this and U2 online, so I'll probably be a lower level than the rest of ya.

As far as the touch screens go, you need to be careful.  Granted my experience with them is from 2 or 3 years ago in college, my friend had one… it worked really really well… until it stopped working.  Once it did he got wierd spots on the screen that wouldn't display correctly and it just really went to shit.  Unfortunately on most laptops, once the screen goes, the laptop is done.  So… unless they fixed that issue… and even if they “did”, I'd get a good warranty.

Also, I find windows generally runs video games better, despite my hatred for both windows and mac OS.  Download Linux for free, partition your hard drive to handle two OS's, and run Linux all the time, run windows only for games.  That should keep you virus free, and able to run anything you want, anytime.

when I was in college we went out regardless of the weather.  Hell, some of the best parties were outdoors in the rain!  Its a great time to find random stupid stuff to do (mudsliding anyone?), or plain just get drunk if you've really given up your assignments.  And no, I don't care if you're underage, its college damnit.  Go get laid at the very least.

Well this is true, but its something I've thought before.  In CoD and uncharted the different enemies are generally defined by the weapon they're using… which is what this does too a lot.  I think a lot of the time I'm left thinking that about most games anymore.  I guess when I think “RPG” though, I think of the beastiary from old final fantasies and other games that have well over 150+ enemy types.  Maybe that'd be too much for a shooter, but I kinda miss the idea of constantly ecountering new enemies to battle, and sometimes needing to really think about how to take them down.

This game would only get boring quick if you don't like shooters in the first place.

I don't really have such a problem with the grenades… just dive out of the way.  If it landed, and you haven't dove, you're too late.  Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive, and Dodge!  hehe…

Also guys, play ranked matches.  While not perfect, the ranked matches get you near people of the same rank most of the time.  Sure they might have a few levels on you and better perks, but generally if you're a noob you'll end up facing other noobs.  You won't rank up until you get good… and you won't face harder opponents till you're ready then.  Which is pretty much the point of a ranking system.  Ranked matches follow the party leader, so don't have the highest ranked party member be the leader!
