Member@colton – don't let trophies get in your way of having fun. I like to use them to track my progress in a game I own, but thats about it… otherwise I'd probably have more platinums too. I have quite a few games that I'm really close to platinuming but haven't done yet, because I don't want to play it to the point that I'm sick of it. I put em down for a while, and come back later when its fun to play again. However, if you need help with the RE5 plat still, I'll help sometime… someone did me the favor when I needed it. PSN ID same as here.

Memberyea, searches are good, because we did discuss this before. GOW collection is supposed to be available in Europe sometime in spring, no official date announced yet though.

I just loved everything about this game… the continuity of the story from the first one really made the prince's attitude very believable, the controls were spot on, combat is really fun, the puzzles are actually puzzling. I love how almost every room in the game had a past and present version, so you would have to figure out several different ways to get around the same place. Really this whole triology was great, but they fixed some gameplay issues in Warrior Within and the setting was beautiful. This is where the series really shined, with every detail coming together perfectly, and I played it over and over again, loving every bit of it.

MemberThis happens to me all the time with Castlevania: SOTN… I dunno what it is but I just love that game. I have a save file with some rediculous number of hours and experience on it, but always just love restarting and finding everything again. This also happens to me with the PoP trilogy on PS2, and the first two GoW games. They're all just so well done, and its great having a bc ps3 so I can still play them.

MemberThere are a couple other games that already fall under the category of “Play Create Share”… Echocrome and Flock! both allow you to create and share your levels. While this is a great idea to implement on consoles, its an idea thats been running for years now on PC. Its one of the great features in StarCraft that has kept people playing for over a decade. CoD4 on PC has a fully available level editor as well. I've played numerous mods for other games like Quake 1, 3, and arena, Diablo 1 and 2, Half Life, and the list goes on for just about forever… A lot of those mods are really really fun. I think a Play Create Share FPS is a realistic possibility that could be really fun, if an appropriate level editor is created. Screw paying for map packs, they charge way more than they're worth.
On that note, this game does look really cool. Hopefully its enough to give Mario Kart the boot… cause I love Mario Kart, but no longer have a N64 available to play.

Ha thanks but the divorce happened a long time ago , i just think of it as two christmas' , two birthdays and so on .
Sounds good Hypnosis , ill add you tonight and when i get the game lets get killing .
Hah, thats exactly how I thought about it when my parents split. Now that I'm an adult and live on my own, its become a royal pain in the ass, because I have to make arrangements with two families for every holiday. dammit.
When are you getting this game?
EDIT: What class do you plan on choosing? I'll probably start a new character when you're ready, and I think it'd be cool to have one of each class in a co op party.

Member@Deadklown – I would go on the borderlands forums and see if you can find anyone on there to help you out. It would probably make it go faster then. I'd help ya out if I could but I'm still only level 20.
I find myself wishing it had more enemy types. Like, way more enemy types. So far I've seen four. Skags, Rakks, Bandits, and the crab bug things. Sure they all have different subtypes, but they're basically the same… with so many weapons to choose from, I feel like I should have just as many different kinds of enemies to kill with them.
On a side note, I found a shotgun last night that launches rockets. Badass.

Uncharted 2 should have won Killzone 2 wasn't that good
ditto. Killzone wasn't anything special. Just another standard shooter with fantastic graphics. Fantastic Graphics does not equal fun, no matter what anyone says. Where as uncharted 2 was amazing in every single way posssible.

Memberwell, like I said before, I would like to recognize the character as the character, not as a famous actor. Some other movies have gone this route of using an unknown actor to fill a role, for the same purpose (primarily Harry Potter). If the movie is directed properly, it works really well. Having a famous name in the movie should never be the main selling point.

Memberheres a really great hacking guide that helped me out a lot when I was having problems. After reading it, it seems so obvious, but its nice to have it spelled out:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps3/file/960609/54644
The most important parts are about the [bracket] commands that remove duds or replenish your tries, and that they point out the power button which I never noticed… allowing you to exit and retry completely if you can't figure it out, rather than locking out the terminal.
Also, I find it much easier to just always have good karma, and when you get to the trophy levels, do bad stuff until you are nuetral or evil. yeah, the water bottles work, but its a pain in the ass extra effort to do and takes more time than just stealing and killing people.

i had no trouble with anything on hard EXCEPT the final boss lol. i think the rest is easy but lazarevic is pretty hard imo
There were like 3 battles that kept giving me problems on hard, but lazarevic is super easy. Just get up on him, he will choke you, keep hitting the square button as idicated on the screen….keep doing this over and over and he will not shoot or throw grenades at you. Super easy.
I tried that originally on normal mode, along with a few other strategies… and it didn't work. I mean, it would once or twice, but I couldn't kill him that way, and on hard one shottie blast and you're done. Too easy to screw up. I run away, shoot backwards at the resin, and after a few hits when hes bleeding, toss my grenades. Still not too hard, and it seems more reliable.
anyway – a revision to my earlier comment. In the end what I really pay attention to is your actual performance as a player when you're in a game with me. Trophies do not indicate skill, most of the time. I only care about trophies when I want to know how much I have left to do in a game I purchased.

MemberCampaigns: The Orange Box (dude! Gravity gun!), Resistance 2 (badass aliens!), Bioshock (Your DNA is rewriting itself!)
Multiplayer: TF2, MW (the only thing its got thats good)
Recently: Borderlands (haven't finished it yet, but its frickin awesome)
Overall, I'd have to say my favorite is Bioshock. The choices for powers is undeniably cool, the setting is awesome, theres really unique challenges with multiple solutions, just everything about this game was top notch. Here's hoping the sequel rocks just as much, and that the multiplayer is implemented well. If it is, I'll take it over CoD any day.

Member@ Deadklown – thanks, I'll check that out. I found a really good sniper rifle last night, had 3x explosions… using my siren with her added elemental ability maxed out it became really effective for taking guys out until they approach me. Then I switch to my electric machine gun, or flame shotgun. I like the elemental weapons, so for her ability it really works well. Otherwise tho, I can't really tell that each character has much of a weapons preference, unless the skill level up for certain weapons gives a different bonus… I can't tell. Anyway tho, you should add me on PSN if you wanna play, my ID is the same as here.
