Memberhmmm… I guess you can't really retrieve an older save file and do it either, can you? Its been a while since I played, but I think its all autosave which sucks…. I'm sorry to say that I think unless Ubisoft will help you out, you might be screwed. Thats a real shitty trophy to get screwed on.
@Ghost – even better, if you have the Knoxx DLC go fight Crawmerax. You won't be able to kill him (probably), but his minions give you an assload of exp. if you do manage to kill him – WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more exp, plus loot! The minions infinitely spawn, so its almost definitely the quickest method right now.

Member@Parnakas – ditto, like I said, highly unlikely
@miiiitch – It probably has something to do with that IGN hypothesised the red bar may be filling up as a result of people earning trophies – so he's saying start earning those platinums to see if we can fill the red bar? I'm not sure, just my guess.
@firestarter – whats the point in questioning his post, rather than contributing to the discussion at hand?
I don't think multiplayer would ruin any credibility to the series, since the trilogy is as of now finalized, and incredibly fantastic and epic – any multiplayer as an after thought would be an optional DLC. I also think if they decided to do it, it wouldn't be some half assed thing. I really don't think it will happen, since I feel any multiplayer would require other playable characters which means different move sets and weapons, and to do that and provide well balanced combat seems like a difficult task to me. It was mentioned in an interview (I forget with what person, but they were on the dev team) that there were some scenarios that got cut from the final project, because it was just simply too much content. Within that same interview they said that if there was DLC, bringing in that cut content would be something they'd want to do, and if it happened that it would be free. If I can find the article I'll post a link… but thats what I really expect to see.

MemberIGN is right about what? that the website exists. Well, yes, then they are.
Its not a new game. Its certainly GOW related, and the team has publicly stated they will not be doing another GOW game for a long time, if at all. Therefore it is either DLC of some sort, or just a tease. If its DLC, its either new story content, or the long rumored but highly unlikely multiplayer. See the four bars in the symbol? Look a hell of a lot like health bars, don't they? Hmmm.. .and the multiple spartan helmets at each segment… could be different players, eh? They often times said that multiplayer doesn't fit with Krato's story – but they never said that multiplayer wouldn't happen. It might, but you would probably play as a spartan, or some other character instead.
Just an additional note – anyone seen that upside down V symbol anywhere in the series? I feel like I have but I can't place where. Of course, it does remind me of Borderlands (/\), and Assassin's Creed uses something similar. Its probably just a spartan symbol, but if anyone can figure out what that represents, its the biggest clue on the site.

MemberThis is another topic that seems to be recreated once a week…
anyway – plot wise – yes you will want to have played the first two GoW games. It will also serve as a good way to get the hang of Krato's move set, since they button layout is pretty similar throughout them, despite changes to moves and magic that he has. The third game (IMO) is also more difficult that the other two, so they're just a good warm up. I was under the impression the collection was supposed to release with gow3 in Europe, which is today. I could be wrong.
Otherwise – Infamous, Batman AA, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, WipEout, Burnout Paradise, Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4, Brutal Legend, Red Faction Guerilla, Heavenly Sword, Resident Evil 5, MGS4, Assassin's Creed 2, Bioshock 1 and 2 (oh shit that fps, but its really different from all the others!), are all out and great. Coming up I'd keep an eye on Modnation Racers, Dead Space 2, L.A. Noire, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (although I'm still skeptical about that one), … and thats about it for me. With GOW3 my video game wish list has been completed – but 2009 was a great year in gaming, nows the time to get some of those gems at a reduced price.

MemberThats pretty lame…. and I don't really have a different solution, however I play this game a lot, so if you need help boosting your character level back to 50, let me know, especially if you see me already in the game. I do know that sometimes (and this was more a problem when trophies first got implemented) if the save data isn't detected as originating from the system you're playing on, trophies won't pop. As a result, you may need to start an entire new save file (not just a new character), in order to get them… which would kinda suck, but you could back up the old stuff, delete em, do a new one, then trade back. This could also be an enormous waste of time though,,, but its what I had to do back when Burnout Paradise got trophies.

MemberUtterly Epic. Superbly Badass. Invariably Ridiculous. Pure Distilled Awesomeness on a Hot Slab of Cool.
Thats it, thats my opinion….
@Parankas – too violent? You do realize you're playing God of War, right?
@Tridon – let that be a lesson to you – special editions of video games are NEVER worth it. Ever. Best off buying the regular game and saving the extra dough for…. another game!
@Miiiiitch – its a good point. I noticed people on another forum doing that… I will do so from now on, except saying :::SPOILERS:::: here are the spoilers ::::END SPOILERS::::
Its kind of a trick of the eye and mind though, when someone says spoilers I know I don't want to read it, but my eyes still go there anyway! I had a really hard time skipping over Antony's post, I think because it was mid sentence, put parnakas' was easy, maybe because of the line breaks? I dunno…

Uncharted 2
Infamous
@Tridon – opinion respected – but glitches? The original had more that I found, one in particular that had to do with aiming while not 'in cover', which made it much easier to get through the harder modes without a scratch. Still great though. Uncharted 2 got an automatic one up for the improved visuals, smoothing out the cover system, and adding online play.
Also – note I almost listed Borderlands over Infamous but realized its not exclusive. Damn. Otherwise this is basically a list of my favorite games overall, since it seems exclusives usually equals 5 times more quality. Slammin'.

Memberhaha, maybe of the people on this website. This guy has got me beat by a long shot:
He makes it look so easy, but a lot of what he does is so damn technical. I was working up to the fire, but have never done it…
Anyway… uhhmmm… I think a pillow might help you practice more than a sex mini game… at least, thats what my neighbors dog uses.

MemberI would think that if they're going to integrate move, they would just patch the game. I'm really hoping thats what they do for RE5 if thats still in the plans – orginally they were going to release a special edition of it with Move, but it looks like they already did that without the Move.
Can you imagine trying to swing your arms around to do Krato's movements? I used to do poi, and its quite tiring… I'd be really interested to see how it works if they did it though, since I would actually be skillfull enough to do it. Don't know what poi is? google it, and all will be explained.

Member@empeedee – that is really cool. thanks.
Its easy to be good at a game when you have access to all the guns, accessories, plasmids, that no one else does… If you have to boost to get there… well, skill has just gone right out the window. Anyone ever wanna play this with me? I'm kinda switching back and forth between this, borderlands, and uncharted 2…
Also – anyone think the dlc for this kinda sucks? Wheres the maps??

Just picked up the game yesterday and I'm loving it so far, plan on getting the DLC's next week if I can afford them.
I heard the DLC for this isn't so good. Will stick to the main game for now.
I'd say they're pretty good. Zombie island was a lot of fun, with nice humor and enemies that will make you want to change you playing style – probably. I know I totally respecced my siren as a firefly to take advantage of her pheonix ability. Its got a good 6 hours of gameplay to it, and for $10 thats pretty decent.
Mad Moxxi's arena is a huge stamina challenge. Its really not difficult as long as you have a partner or two, but it takes FOREVER. The small arenas are cool, and I'd actually play them again, but I'm not willing to go through a huge arena again – at least not in the entirety. One nice thing we discovered – if a player joins into an arena partway through, they still get credit for completing it. The only person who can't leave and come back is the host. It will take about 5-6 hours per large arena. Any ways, you benefit from two extra skill points for doing the small arenas on each playthrough, plus the bank. Its defnitely a fun mode to play, I just wish they had broken it up into smaller sections that were more challenging combat situations.
The Secret Armory of General Knoxx is awesome – a must buy DLC, quite possibly the best DLC for any game on PS3 yet. Raised level cap (lvl 61), new enemies, new weapons, new vehicles, and an awesome loot run shopping spree as a reward for beating it (don't yell at me for spoilers, it tells you in the opening of the dlc that this is your reward). If you buy any – get this one. On that note, I will help ANYONE to beat this on playthrough 2, because I want to get that reward as many times as possible. Theres too many guns for someone to pick up, so grab what we can and share afterwards. Hit me up!

Membermy supervisor at work refers to it as the “kingly we”. Whenever he says “we” need to do something, he means us as a department, but really he means me, the guy who goes and does it. It would make sense that more than one person maintains this website… in fact, I would find it impressive if only one person maintained this website. We probably refers to those with access to the administrative account.

Some people are just sore losers, and take it way to seriously.
While playing street fighter i got a msg from the person i was about to play saying 'F*** You Arsehole'
I think that guy was a bit too hyped up lol.
Although when i have a really good contested match with someone i occasionally get or send a msg myself saying 'Good fight'
I get that stuff too in Soul Cal when I'm playing without my mic.
I seem to consistently run into the same guy on the Uncharted 2 ranked playlist – He always comes into the room talking smack on people's moms, etc, etc, to get a rise out of them. I guess he just wants to screw with people's heads before killing them… It doesn't work. He sucks.
