Memberwell thats one way… It seems like every time someone is stuck on a particular trophy they just start a new thread about it,,, see the recent “God of War – Help!” thread (which by the way has an unmarked spoiler in it, just a warning), which is in reference to two of the challenges for the challenge trophy. Usually the trouble trophies are described in more detail within the guides anyway, so I'm not sure its really necessary to make a separate thread for one trophy, unless its particularly troublesome. I don't write guides though, just answer questions, so who am I to say?

I can see how it appears that way, and while true that you are constantly hacking and slashing, the thing that makes GOW so great (for me anyway) is the combat dynamics. If you go on any difficulty above normal (and even on normal for the new one) and just go button tapping You Will Die. You have to pay careful attention to your enemies movements, as they betray when an attack is coming, requiring a dodge or block. Certain moves you do can't be interrupted by dodging or blocking, but they are more powerful, so you have to choose carefully when to use them. Add in the fact that you fight numerous enemies at once, and it becomes quite the challenge. This is one of those games where the combat style really shines on higher difficulties, but on the lower ones it won't seem like anything special. To each his own, but I do think its odd you say it doesn't interest you, but your signature is about Kratos.

Hey – the PS2 trilogy was DAMN good though. That was tied for the GOW1 and 2 for me on PS2 as my favorites, and certain aspects I liked more (time manipulation puzzles – so cool). I really don't see how you would hurt yourself playing either game tho. I mean, people haven't even done this with the Wii! (or have they?)
MemberQore wasn't too bad. Yes, clearly its biased, but they're usually covering the better exclusives to the PS3, so its not like they're lying when they say this stuff is good. I would expect FirstPlay to be similar, hopefully also with semi-cute chicks hosting it. Hopefully you also get a bunch of free beta access and exclusive demos, along with a couple freebie PSN games like we did too.

Thats why I attempted to not be a jerk at first about it… it is obvious. Frankly, if he didn't, I'd be pretty damn pissed at the game.
It is nice to read this and find that bare hands was the one that seems to frustrate people the most… now that I've had a bit to cool down maybe I'll go back and try the rest. I guess I should be able to do them without so much of a head ache.
MemberOk so, not to be a jerk, and its kind of minor, but spoiler warnings are really nice. Actually, I do kind of want to be a jerk, because its one of my pet peeves. USE SPOILER WARNINGS!
Anyway, Bare Hands is a pain in the ass, but heres what I got. Clearly you already know how to start, grab and ram. Basically, you want to get the big guys near the edge and knock them off the edge, rather than actually killing them. This is risky, since its very easy for them to do the same to you. Also, DO NOT do the QTE kills on them, it just takes waaaaay too much time. I got it down to one guy and was dumb enough to do the QTE, and that failed it for me. If you really can't get them off the edge, just kill them off with the ram. Thats really all I can say, its just persistence after that.
I was kinda pissed after that one though, so I didn't even try the others yet, sorry I have no tips for Get stoned.

I've been trying to figure that out. hold the controller with your right hand resting on your knee, and press against your knee as you mash buttons? Even then, it seems like this would be pretty freakin difficult to do.
Member@Robby – my apologies if I came off as a jerk. I was simply trying to inform, not flame or troll or whatever. We don't have moderators here, so theres no way to get the title changed, just something to keep in mind in the future. And like edge said, this might be a hard place to find people for boosting, but you are certainly welcome to try. I for one almost never participate in boosting, unless it is somehow actually fun.
MemberIt helps a lot if you state the game in the title, or at the very least the initial post. And no… I don't own it, and wouldn't have read this or posted had you done that.
MemberI meant to play these more, but of course got distracted (GOW3, Borderlands DLC). You probably won't see me sending too many invites out, but you can always try sending me one and see if I'm down for it. I usually am, I just never turn the game on any more since I have too few people to play with. Why oh why did all my friends buy mw2? oh yeah, because “everyone” was buying mw2… thats why. idiots. ahem…
@gow2rules – definitely. screw the skins. just get the maps, for $4 its not bad at all. The levels are pretty cool, I like that its always raining on the one, it looks really cool in HD.
@Redbren – Actually, I hate playing plunder on the facility – it just seems like the bag never gets anywhere because of that damn sub, and trying to go around it is stupid, you just get end up taking it further away from everything.
MemberI can kind of assume by the context, but really, what the hell do you mean you got jerked? The game froze, or glitched, or what? And no, you can still get yours – generally its a good idea to google the trophy list and a guide to determine if you've completed everything. Google rules people, use it!

nope. all you needed to do was read the two pages. I have that game, but find I rarely play it since I have no opponents, and finding any online is virtually impossible. Frankly I only bought it because I still own the originals for PSOne, and loved them, but it just didn't do anything for me except update the graphics really.
MemberAs with all trophies lost during that glitch – your best bet is to contact the devs and explain what happened. Sometimes they can unlock the trophy remotely for you. If that fails you just might have to straight up earn it again. Hopefully you can do so with having to delete the data on your ps3 – I would ask about that too were I you.
