So, can someone tell me whether or not this game is worth £10? Apparently it can be completed in 3 hours and despite the reviews all being positive I'm being my usual tightish cuntish self and refusing to buy it!
I've been the exact same myself. I keep hovering over it on the store but I can't bring myself to buy it.

MemberMost of the DLC is pretty good. The extra armour and party members come in handy. Awakening is set after the main quest so anything you get is only useful for it's duration.
But I wouldn't bother with the Darkspawn Chronicles. Complete crap.

No hassle. I've just been trying to find a list of areas that are needed as I don't want to finish a second playthrough and miss the trophy again.
What are you making of the game so far?

MemberIf you weren't a huge fan of WD series 1 then series 2 will probably downright piss you off. In place of horrible deaths and nightmare escapes you'll find love triangles, moral dilemmas and pregnancies. There's still zombies wandering around but the series sets itself firmly in the 'drama' genre rather than 'action-horror'.
I watched it and enjoyed it but by the end I was cheering for the walkers…

I finished a single PLaythrough of Origins and loved it but I've been avoiding going back because of the 'Traveller' trophy. Have you found a complete list of locations that definitely need to be entered?

MemberFour pages of hype and not a single post after the release of the game…
I've said elsewhere that I found the game too long-winded, but I think I also found it less memorable than the first. Each area in Arkham Asylum stood out and had something distinct to make it feel unique. Arkham City had too many “grey” areas. I spent twice as long flying around the place (poxing riddler trophies) than I did in AA yet even at the end of my second playthrough (
) I was still checking my map to find where I was going.
And I think it's a real pity as so many aspects of the game are 10/10. The combat still made me feel like a ninja and was truly awesome when the full move-set was unlocked and mastered. The graphics and attention to detail are flawless. And the cast are word perfect, each doing complete justice to their history.
If they do decide to make a third game I really hope they adopt a “less is more” approach.

MemberSo after about 100 hours in the Wasteland, the handful of tedious trophies I had left saw this side-lined. I still keep meaning to go back to it but the trophy for the three casinos is just killing my will to live. I have the first one done but it took a bloody age!
The only 10,000 points trophy I have left is the one for food and I think I'm on about 6500. I still have 50 pockets to pick and I haven't even looked at the rules for Caravan. The Hardcore playthrough is also on the to-do list.

MemberMyself and Mojo have been chugging away at this for a few weeks now, we only get a few hours in at the weekends so it's slow going.
So far we've been lucky with glitches, only a few freezes making life difficult.
The game is good fun but I'm not sure if I'd ever want to play it solo. The combat does get a bit repetetive and the rate that the weapons disintegrate is retarded. Also, the missions are a bit too generic and, like Doc, I haven't a notion of the storyline. I'm not even sure which characters are part of the main plot and which are just for sidequests.
Still, on co-op it's well worth the play and considering some of the review scores it got I was expecting something a lot worse. It's a pity that quite a lot of people would have been put off buying it by the day-one glitches that all seem to be fixed now.

That was poor all right. Seriously short on proper laughs.

MemberSeason 2 of the Walking Dead just finished so I now have a short wait until Game of Thrones starts up again. I was never a big fan of TV series but the last two years have completely spoiled me with quality watching.

What the pox is with all this fatalism?!
This is a group of guys that have probably re-started the same time-trial five hundred times to get a trophy, spent days finding the 184613447981 collectables in a game and ground their teeth to dust beating all their games on Insanecore mode! You ended up here because you NEVER give up on anything!!
I'm going to abuse the lot of you on PSN until you start posting again!!!

A two part song that lasts nearly half an hour. I managed to get it on coloured vinyl (Only a pressing of 1000 copies) so I'm fairly pleased with myself

MemberI have both The Silent Hill HD collection and Silent Hill: Downpour on order.
I've prattled on before about SH2 being my favourite game so I genuinely cannot wait to get my hands on it.

MemberBatman: Arkham City.
An amazing game that just dragged on for far too long. The first playthrough was magic, the second was sleep-inducing. The same goes for the challenge rooms. Individually they were tolerable but the campaigns were just an utter pain to get through and complately put me off even touching the DLC I already paid for.
