MemberMaking nice progress there mate. You'll easily get a bit more out of Modnation but there's about three trophies that will take months to get.
@Kieeeraaan. L
I'm actually a little envious of you mate. You've got some unbelievable games to discover there. Arkham Asylum is just solid brilliance and a straight forward plat. The collectables take a little bit of searching but you can get them all after you finish the game so just enjoy and leave them until last. And with a bit of practice you can get through the challenge rooms.
Assassin's Creed 2 is another peach and a pretty easy plat. I think the only trophy that you can miss is the one for kicking a guy off the roof while flying. Apart from that it's play at your own pace stuff.
And Borderlands! Find a friend that hasn't done this beast and both of you dedicate a week to it. The best co-op fun on a console in my opinion. It just doesn't get old.

MemberFinally got my Castlevania plat so it's on to Killzone 3. I'm going online before I try the SP because I want to make the most of my 24 hours worth of double XP and unlocks.
By the way, does anyone know if it's 24 hours from when you go online first, or your first 24 hours of game time?

MemberIt's been a good night for me. I finished Chapters 5 and 6 on Paladin in Castlevania and decided to take a break and get my Sky is Falling trophy for the plat in Flashpoint. I've had that one on the back-burner for a while now so I'm glad to finally get around to finishing it.

MemberThere's no doubt that this is shaoing up to be a beast of a game but I can't help but be a little disappointed that they've moved away from the original concept so much.
When it was first announced the emphisis was on survival horror and combat was going to be quite limited. You were basically an ordinary person caught up in a crazy situation and trying to get out alive. Combat was almost exclusively going to be defensive and used to get out of dangerous situations.
Now we're going to be roaming around with a squad of leveled-up action heroes like in Borderlands. It still sounds like a great game but the combat and zombie classes are bringing it back down to the ordinary.
I don't want to sound negative, like I said, the game still sounds great and it's on the top of my pre-order wish-list, but when I first heard about this game the factor that most got my attention was how different it was going to play to everything else I had at the time. The prospect of creeping around an island where every enemy could be my death sounded awesome.

no one else interested, you can now get a special edition, with a whole bunch of shit, too expensive though.
It's not too bad considering the price of some of the Collector's Editions we've seen recently. And the bust looks quite good.
Not that the price matters, how could you ever turn down something called the “Balls of Steel” edition?!

MemberGot the plat in Black Ops so apart from helping Gnilsia with a trophy or two, I'm finished with it.
Back into Castlevania now. Into chapter 5 on Paladin now. It's not too bad as far as “extra hard” difficulties go. There are a few spots that had my head wrecked but if you can keep your magic topped up then there's very little that slows you down.
Once I have that finished then I think I'll try for that retarded 'The Sky is Falling' trophy in Operation Flashpoint. It's the last I need for the plat but the few times I've tried for it I haven't even come close.

MemberI feel exactly the same way about Black Ops. Not even the menus work properly. That tends to be the easy bit when coding a game.
I only ever really enjoyed the game when playing Zombies co-op with my friends. But even at that, now that I have the plat I can't see myself going back to it other than to help someone witha trophy or two.

MemberWell the United v Crawley game was a disgrace. Half the United players were asleep and Rooney made even them look dangerous when he came on. €250,000 a week to lose the ball every second touch? What a joke.
I was looking forward to the game since it was announced and now I just want to forget it.

MemberI'm looking forward to it but the news that the co-op is local only has sucked a lot of the excitement out of it. What a waste.

MemberBattering through zombies in Black Ops at the moment. Only one trophy left for the plat. I still have to finish Castlevania on Paladin difficulty and complete 2 of the trials for that plat.
Dead Space 2 is on hold as well because I'm not spending too long gaming solo at the moment and Hardcore mode will require quite a sit-down time.
Would love to be playing Bad Company: Vietnam but the servers are so messed up it's more effort than it's worth.

MemberThis was looking cool about four years ago but the whole project went dark and I thought it had just been scrapped. I was delighted to find out I was wrong. The trailers look insane.
Apparently the emphasis is going to be on survival rather than mowing down zombies. Guns and bullets are going to be rarities with melee being the common defence.

i fancied spurs to get a draw and im glad they won in the end with loads of drama *cough* gattuso!
i reckon it'll be a 2-1 win for barca tonight tho :/
Gattuso is entertainment packaged. I was just disappointed he didn't give Crouch a proper slap, and I had to laugh at the yellow card being given for one of his milder moments. His reaction was priceless though. When you watch the replay the ref actually looks likes he's having second thoughts because he's scared.
Flamini was lucky to stay on the pitch. If it had been a PL game he definitely would have gone. He has some welcome waiting for him at Whiteheart Lane.
But I honestly have to say I was disgusted to see the goal dissallowed. The “push” was minimal and Ibrahimavich was moving away from Dawson so there was no force. He was stupid to put his hands on another player but Dawson still dived. You can clearly see he lands on his feet and just lets his legs go limp.
And if that “push” was considered a foul then I can't understand how the ref can not give a penalty against Woodgate because as the ball comes back in to the box he has a Milan player (couldn't see who) completely pinned with his arms around the guys waist. The ref is staring at the two of them and can clearly see the Milan player trying to move towards the ball and being fouled but does nothing.
Pushing and shoving are commonplace in the box but if you're going to call foul on one incident then you have to do so for everything. The selective reffing that's happening at the moment is bollox.
