Are you sure about that? Wikipedia says the first game was developed by Dreamworks Interactive, which is now EA Los Angeles

Hmm maybe it wasn't Medal of Honor. I think they worked on a medal of honor game though..

The founders at Infinity Ward worked for EA at the time of the 1st MOH, then they started their own company (IW) to compete with the EA series

The original Medal Of Honor – 1st game I ever played on my uncle's PS1 when i was 4 ,

It started my love of FPS's, have to give Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex a mention aswell, 1st proper OCD like love of a PS2 game, then came R&C lol.

Also have to mention Driver 2 for my love of racing / driving games, and what a great first driving game to play.
