If the hidden ones are the same as the hidden ones on the 360 this is a better set than the 360. You had to beat the game with each weapon for a bunch of the 360 achievements

Or just don’t get the game if you think the trophies are stupid, problem solved and it saves the thread from getting clouded with people crying over it.

I played some of the first game and I think it was too hard, although I liked Ninja Gaiden on NES console. The most annoying thing is that the enemies spawn every time you go through an area you’ve already been, even if you’ve killed them all. The trophies seems to be as difficult as the game and too boring. I hate this kind of trophy that obligates you to quit your life just for playing the game.

hmm….didn’t like ng2 on 360….so why should i get this one?…oh yea extra content!! but it still doesn’t really make up for the gameplay in my opinion…well if this game is co-op online like the rumors claimed, then i’m done for the fight..

13×1000? gotta be a Typo, otherwise this takes the place of World at War for A-hole Platinum.

    September 17th, 2009 at 18:44 | #15

Hmm, PlayStation The Official Magazine (November issue) gave this game 4.5/5 so might get it. Although, I’ve got many other priorities that comes first… Dragon Age, Alpha Protocol, Assassins Creed 2, Uncharted 2… comes to mind; maybe Demons Souls.

Tried the demo and well, not very impressed by it. I’ll pass… and even when it’ll be cheaper in a few years, not sure if I’ll buy. Maybe a rental… if only I’d have a few videostores nearby *sigh*.

    @razor-k
Based off the hidden trophies I’ve unlocked I surmise now that I know them all.

I’ve unlocked the 5 chapter completion trophies. Also Cleared the Path of the Acolyte and Cleared Path of the Warrior, both silver. I also have Mastered The Path of the Acolyte and Mastered The Path of the Warrior, they’re both silver. To complete it, do the chapter challenge and get a rank of Master Ninja on every chapter. You also unlock a costume for Ryu along the way of doing that. I think it’s when you get 10 Master Ninja ranks.

Now that I have those trophies, the hidden ones are obvious. There will be 2 trophies for completing Path of the Mentor and Path of the Master Ninja. There will also be trophies for getting a Master Ninja rank on all chapters in the chapter challenge on those difficulties.

I’m guessing the final hidden 3 trophies would be killing 1000 enemies with all 3 of the female characters.

    October 8th, 2009 at 17:54 | #29

yeah man,all the trophies are exactly as you say it is,I finished mentor mode, and all chapter challenges ranking master ninja and also the team missions,Ive done the acolyte and warrior and 4 of the mentor ones, I cant even last 10 seconds on the master ninja or ultimate team missions.lol. master ninja difficulty ,I just beat chapter 1,im getting my ass kicked in chapter 2. anyone completed master ninja mode? I found all 30 skulls, but no trophy for that? what the f??? in the 360 version you get a trophy each 10 skulls i think. now,i found all 30 and no trophy. Anyway guys,I found something which might be a secret,I dont know yet,but while playing chapter challenge, on chapter 14, just before fighting elizabeth for the first time, on the right of the stairs just before elizabeth, there is a mysterious stone tablet, like the one found in ninja gaiden 1,the one you can put on the twin serpent thingy, I grabbed it and there was something written on it.did anyone find that yet? what is it used for?

Right now im 45% done with the trophy list….trying to pass Master difficulty but its FREAKING HARD…im trying to beat the end boss from chapter 8 with rachel but those shadow fiends are ANNOYING….defeating them is actually harder than defeating the boss itself… took me about 3 hours to finally defeat the red and blue tengus with momiji…and another thing…those gold colored flying fiends are so cheap….and annoying…one hit from them and ur dead even with full life…makes me wonder sometimes whats the point of the game giving u health items if you dont even have time to use them when u get hit cause most enemies kill you instantly…im avoiding the mentor, master, and ultimate missions until i beat master story mode…(if i ever do) cause i read when u beat master story u get a gold healh bar…i also read that u get a cool unlockable when u find all 30 skulls…which i already did but didnt get a trophy nor a unlockable….

    January 13th, 2010 at 03:52 | #42

can’t wait to start unlocking trophies for this game. i played the demo and its just like DMC.

DMC4 was awesome but as people are saying YES the hardest modes are damn difficult, especically if theres a ranking system in this like DMC (i dont know?)

As for hard platinums, have any of you guys got resistance 2??

one trophy manages to take up weeks and weeks of your time coz you need to get 10,000 (yes TEN THOUSAND) online kills (and ONLY in ranked matches, meaning you cannot cheat this one with a friend with no kill limit) and you are limited to a MAXIMUM of 25 kills per match!!

I must’ve clocked up 100 hours of online play alone, nevermind the single campaign that you also gotta beat!
