it would be a good job if its faster paced than real ufc. it wouldnt make a good game just watching people hug each other on the floor

liamturkey678 go buy Fight Night or SF4. Leave the more realistic fighting to those who can appreciate the skill being used on the mat.

Almost all fights in real life go to the ground. That’s why if you want to be successful at MMA you train in Jiu-Jitsu and/or Wrestling.

Andy as much as i love ROH i’d have to disagree with what your sayin try taking a few hits to the jaw from brock lesnar, randy couture, tito ortiz or rampage jackson. there is no way those guys pull there punches.

definatly gonna take some learning to get some of the ground tech. down and the hits are all very fluid.

Agreed. Demo is real fun! Wish we could’ve had more than two fighters though. Still, the blood looks really good and the punches look so good.

so…your saying you would rather watch, roided out “wrestlers”, that act out each match, while the hits are hard and probably do hurt, but its all staged…

or watch dude really punch each other in the face and use real martial art skills?? and i’ve been watching ufc for awhile now, as well as other mma organizations like pride, and i can tell you, i rarely see a boring fight…

but again, to each his own and you like what you like…

and as far as ground work goes, check out the tutorial in the game, gives you a great idea of how it works, i’ve gotten pretty good and controlling my posture when mounted and half guard and all that..
i CANNOT get a submission though, no matter how well i time the submission attempt, it never gets completed…

oh yea, try the demo on expert or advanced, that will really tell you how well you have control of the game, easy and the second difficulty are to easy…

the other 2 difficulties really make the computer work you, they attempt takedowns way more, they knock you out easier.

Hey this game is solid.
I’m pretty good already, bought it 3 days ago.

i played someone with a 58 win streak (58-0-0) & i got pwned in round 2, tbh they were quite lucky… bast*rd ground & pound! anyways im level 21 online & just lost on a 10 win streak & im enjoying just playing online, its really fun!

wow 58 win streak thats pretty good, i like to use ground and pound but i don’t over do it unless i come across some of the noobs who only know how to do head kicks and superman punch’s then the temptation to smash them on the ground kicks in….it’s even better if they have a headset too because they get so cut lol.
