Just got round to playing Bioshock last week

Now i see why people kept telling me to play it, indeed a brilliant story… The plane crash part is a bit ropey but what great story doesn't have at least one part…

The Mortal Kombat story is pretty interesting if you follow it…

Metroid Prime trilogy, period. Dark Samus is effin' badass.

Other games that have a great story: Valkyria Chronicles, Metal Gear Solid (series as a whole), Shadow of the Colossus, Mass Effect (both, waiting patiently for the third one), Half-Life 2, Final Fantasy VI and VII, God of War series (best “what if” of the Greek mythology, EVER), and much, much more

dude we have very similar taste haha. also fallout 🙂 the story itself i guess is lacking but with all the running around like a chicken with its head cut off in the game you learn a lot of storylines. i love fallout and borderlands both <3

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (never played the others)

Batman: Arkham City

Resistance (series)

Prince of Persia (the ones that were on the Xbox and PS2)

Heavy Rain

Those are mostly stuff that I can remember and personal favorites.

Here's some that haven't been mentioned yet.

LA Noire. I can't believe no one's mentioned that. I can't think of a story that I've liked more.

A couple of decent RPG stories:

Golden Sun 1 & 2

Nier

And these next two perhaps don't have the deepest stories, but the unique way you experience the story makes it more impactful.
